Bar-B-Q Skyline — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

Recently I've been there with my office colleague.

Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The staff here are completely unprofessional and poorly trained. Not only was the service extremely slow, but the food arrived after an unreasonably long wait even at Iftar time—and when it finally did, it wasn’t even worth it. They have no sense to serve during Iftar time. The floor management is chaotic; no coordination, no courtesy, and zero sense of customer care.

I felt like the staff were more interested in socializing among themselves than attending to customers. No updates, no apologies for the delay, and an overall careless attitude throughout.

If you value your time, money, and basic respect as a customer, I strongly advise you to stay away from this place. There are plenty of restaurants out there who understand what real hospitality means—this is definitely NOT one of them.

I wish I could give them with no STAR at all but google don't allow me to post a review with a minimum One Star. They don't even deserve One Star.

Hope you remember us now who visited your restaurant on 18th Mar 2025 with 15 people at Iftar time with one of our senior. I'm not spreading any negativity about your restaurant, i'm just describing what exactly happened. So lets recap. We booked and placed you an order at 3pm for 15 people. We've reached there at 5:30pm. You've served just the water bottle just 2min before Azan. Till the Azan time we've just nothing on the table. Till 6:20pm only 11 of us get their food. At 6:25pm even you don't know that we are still waiting for 4 person food. At 6:45pm you have serve us final 2 persons food.

How can you so careless. And we've seen no floor manager who should responsible to operate floor to customer query and ensure that they are getting what they ordered.

You should know which table order what and what you've served for that table.

Again I'm not spreading any negativity about your restaurant, i'm just describing what exactly happened.

A great chilling place in Dhanmondi 27. Yesterday I went there with some of my homies.

Ambience: It was a great experience there. Nice and cozy. We had musical sessions as there was no restrictions from the authority. It’s a great place to hangout.

Food: We ordered Murgh tikka and Beef Shish with garlic naan. Man hat’s off to the baker for the naans. It was aromatic, soft and fluffy. I ate a whole naan just with the raita. When coming to the kebab most of the places serve dry meat but this one didn’t let me down. The serve half of the chicken which is enough juicy yet grilled with spices. It was moderate spicy. The beef Shish is my favourite of that night. It was one the spicy side yet you will feel all the flavour on your tongue as you continue to eat. It was not chewy. Man! It was so awesome i wish i had more. But just a plate of kebab and a naan can fill your belly.

Service: The staff were decent. They had their gloves and hair cover on. It takes 40 minutes to serve the food but they let you know beforehand but it was quite letdown for me as i was hungry, but if I’m not being a stubborn child,40 minutes is nothing for wonderful meal.

Price: The price i paid for the food was moderately reasonable. I know that we look for a cheaper option here and there but how would i find this kind of beef shish and garlic naan...

I had a very disappointing experience at Bar-B-Q Skyline during an anniversary party. The moment I entered, the place felt underwhelming—nothing special about it. However, things went downhill from there, especially regarding the service and food. The staff seemed unprepared and confused throughout the event. We had to ask repeatedly for food because it took so long to arrive. To make matters worse, we saw someone unpacking a cigarette pack near the kitchen, which was completely unprofessional. Even simple requests, like getting a straw, were mishandled—we were given extra Pepsi instead.

Overall, this was a frustrating and poorly managed event. If you’re considering Bar-B-Q Skyline for a special occasion, I would strongly advise against it. If you do visit, stick to simpler items like fried food, but don’t expect good service or a well-organized meal.
