I recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful establishment that captivated both my taste buds and my visual senses. Let me take you on a culinary journey, where every bite was an exquisite experience complemented by the beauty of the environment and interiors.

The first dish that graced my table was a heavenly pizza. Its thin, crispy crust served as the perfect canvas for a symphony of flavors. And as I indulged in this culinary masterpiece, my eyes wandered around the restaurant's interior, which was adorned with stylish decor and warm, inviting ambiance. It enhanced my overall dining experience.

Next, I had the pretty average burger. The juicy patty was cooked with perfection. It has a fatty aroma into it which always enhance my experience. I always try to check if the patty is cooked well or not because for me the burger is all about the patty and the bun. You cannot mess up the most important things of a burger. But the buns were not the best I was expecting to get.

To quench my thirst, I decided to try their cookies and cream shake. For me it was too creamy in a bad way. I understand that others may find it delightful. The shake had a rich and velvety consistency that some may appreciate. However, I had anticipated more variety in textures, with bits of cookie incorporated throughout the shake for added crunch and contrast. Unfortunately, the presence of a large piece of cookie on top of the shake wasn't enough to fulfill that expectation.

New fancy cafe alert in Dhanmondi 🚨🚨

A new cafe called @cafedolcebd just opened its doors bringing the charm of London in the heart of Dhaka. This is by far, one of the most fancy and boujee style cafes in Dhanmondi. The interior has the victorian vibe which will catch your eyes the moment you enter the cafe.

They have different types of Moctails, Mojitos, Coffees, non caffeinated drinks, juices and desserts in their menu and from that, we took the following things:

🍸Yuzu Calamansi (295 tk): This mojito has a refreshing taste of yuzu, which is a citrus fruit. The taste mostly like lemonades and was a mixture of sweetness, sourness and a bit bitterness. Will recommend this drink.

☕ Cappuccino (295 tk): They have a decent coffee I must say. The coffee was light, creamy and less sugary compared to other cafes which i liked a lot.

🍫🥟Chocolate Dumpling (785 tk): This item from their House Special Desserts caught my eyes. The presentation of this dish was top notch. The dumplings were perfect with the chocolate filling. But the juice they made as the soup of the dumplings, it was not going well with the dumpling to me. They used Pina Colada Sauce in the soup and some melted chocolates as well but the sour taste of the soup was not going well with my taste buds. Overall, i felt it was not worthy of the high price. If you want to experience something new, you can try it on your own risk.

Okay, let's start with the decor. It's simply beautiful and classy. I loved it. Gives you a cigar bar vibe, high quality shisha place. The place is small. Only few seats but very well decorated.

Atmosphere was okay. When I went there there was too little kid. Maybe 16 or 17 sitting there smoking. Didn't know this was a smoke restaurant/ cafe. So that's a big no-no for me. I don't want to come to a place. I'm going to have dinner but there's going to be packed with cigarette smoke. Service was good. No complaint there. I like the burger. I think it had blue cheese or some kind of stinky cheese which I usually enjoy with my burgers. So I was pleasantly surprise that they just didn't smile with some typical slice of American cheese. Fries okay as well. I wish the gate will fries for the price. We also have that chicken tender type of thing. They had a fancy name for it but it was essentially fried chicken tender. Did not enjoy that. It was somewhat dry and the crumb coating wasn't that good. We enjoyed our drinks that we both ordered. If nothing else I might be coming back for the drink menu. Overall the place is beautiful, and the food is ok. My biggest thing is it's a smoking place and I don't enjoy that. If they had an outdoor radio where people can sit and smoke that would be different but in a small congested place like this when even one person smokes one or two. If you're sitting next to it, you're getting this smell on your clothes. Young kids probably look like this place to go and take pictures.
