Title: A Disappointing Visit to The Lone Star Steakhouse

During my recent visit to The Lone Star Steakhouse, I was unfortunately met with a series of disappointments that overshadowed the potential enjoyment of a classic steakhouse experience. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this establishment based on the unsatisfactory service and various inconveniences I encountered.

To begin with, the restaurant failed to fulfill basic beverage orders. Despite ordering a root beer initially, I was informed after a significant delay that it was not available. This initial letdown was followed by a similar occurrence when I opted for a ginger ale, only to be informed once again that it was unavailable. Such inconsistencies in the availability of basic beverages gave a poor impression of the restaurant's management and attention to customer needs.

Furthermore, when I ordered a cold mocha, I received a hot mocha instead. Although I promptly brought this to the attention of the staff, their response lacked professionalism and accountability. There was no genuine apology or attempt to rectify the mistake, leaving me dissatisfied with their lack of customer service.

One of the most frustrating aspects of my visit was the issue with the billing process. When it was time to settle the bill, I was surprised to receive a handwritten bill without any VAT included. The staff informed me that I would need to collect the VAT receipt the following day, which was inconvenient and contrary to expected industry standards. It was disappointing to see such a lack of organization and professionalism in handling the billing process.

Moreover, I was taken aback when I was required to engage in a heated argument and raise my voice in order to obtain the correct bill. This level of customer service is simply unacceptable and tarnishes the dining experience as a whole.

Considering all of these factors, I left The Lone Star Steakhouse feeling dissatisfied and unappreciated as a customer. While the restaurant may boast a charming ambiance and the potential for a delightful dining experience, the numerous shortcomings in service and the overall unprofessional behavior make it difficult to recommend this establishment to others.

✨Ribeye Steak 300g

The rib eye was cooked to perfection . In every bite I could feel the juice coming out of the meat. Would vouch again for this one for sure. The mashed potatoes were extremely creamy and delicious. Add their cheese sauce on the mashed potato. The taste enhances even more after this. The cheese sauce was made of cheddar cheese which you can feel the taste in every spoon. The mushroom sauce had a passable flavor. The cheese sauce, I believe, was sufficient for me. The Mexican rice was full of corns and veggies but I was a bit disappointed with the taste as the perfect balance of flavours was missing from it. They need to work on their Mexican rice as most of the steak lovers loves to eat steak with rice. Other than that it is totally worth it specially with the mashed potato.

✨Baby Ribs

These baby ribs were tender, smoked, moist and charred to perfection. I didn’t regret a single bite; with each bite melting in my mouth The rich smoky flavor only added to a dish that did not need anymore flavor enhancement. The BBQ sauce on it was lit 🔥. My sides were mashed potatoes and seafood rice and they were a decent touch on an already mouthwatering extravaganza! No complaints whatsoever.

✨Dory Fish Fingers

Fish fingers had a crunchy outside and inner side the fish was flaky and tender since they were deep-fried with panko. Fish was a little salty, however tartar sauce greatly enhances the flavor of the fish and reduces the saltiness. A fantastic snack, for sure! Very basic tasting tartar sauce went well with the french fries.

✨ Chef’s Special Lava Cake

The chef’s special lava cake have become of my favourites. It has a layer of hot chocolate sponge cake served with vanilla ice cream. Just pure bliss!

Really really loved the food and their service specially their ribeye steak. It was soooo perfect and tender.

After watching a lot of good reviews from our BD food bloggers went to this place on 21st August 2022 to have some premium quality steak at dinner. Ambience is good but I must say this place is over hype. They were serving welcome drinks to the other customers but didn't served us any. Anyway then we ordered sirloin steak, spicy chicken, extra seafood rice, 2 Fanta and lava cake. We preferred rare medium for the steak. After near about 20 they served our food. The spicy chicken tasted very average. The amount of rice they are serving is not enough comparing to the price, it costed me 280 +tk. Now come to steak part, it was not cooked properly. When I cut it down blood came out from it, had no proper seasonings. A bad raw smell was coming out from it. We asked to cook it into rare with extra seasonings. They served it again but it was not bearable. We asked again to make it well done, they served again but seriously it was not worthy to eat. We asked them to parcel the rest of the food because in the meantime desire of having food was gone. Then we waited another 20 minutes but they didn't served us the lava cake. We told them to give us the bill but they charged us for the lava cake which they didn't served. We called them and asked why have they charged us lava cake, they said to wait for another 15 minutes and they will serve it. We had to desire to taste their desert if we have to wait again for 15 minutes. We asked them to cancel that order and adjust the bill. When we went there they had only 3 customers and this was their service. Now think what would be the quality of their service if they were houseful! The total bill was 2719.50 tk. Which was full waste. I am not recommending this place to anyone. They are charging premium price for the food with horrible service and capable enough to destroy anyone's special day.
