Read moreDay 1: Stopped by since this place was just a few blocks away from my sweet home. Decided to try the platter on a whim ahead of my brunch rendezvous. Later everything turned out to be not bad experience at all
Substantially food was average from âUtshobâ. Jali Kebab came with was cold and sorta hard to bite on. No big satisfaction from the service being delivered. Seemingly vendors are competitive if not so well known. Price looks fine on what vibe you put yourself through. For me it was a fair deal. 7/10 to sum up!
Day 2: Chose Punjab Kitchen because needed to try a meal to figure out such delicacies coming in light. Havenât disappointed this time. In fact I was oddly flattered by the amount paid for this platter consisted sufficient amount of food. Would be 10/10 if any drink wouldâve come with it. Compared to my previous consideration had a drink. Worst part that meal was cheaper than this one. Basically paid more with having no drink to get. Didnât plan to avail their beverages. Hence tried another stall. A solid 8 out of 10
Day 3: Potentially nothing could ever beat how a bengali appetite ideally grab rice dominant meal at any certain moment. So had to come up with âAfghan Grillâ( hadnât recommended) who offers afghani style kababs. Apparently, taste was just gross tbh along with a large price tag. I am still reconciling Afghan related while items were more like North-Indian grills with its spices no wonder. Thinking thatâs how in BD some businesses have found such tremendous way to cheat consumers through cuisine industry like anything else. Would put 4 out of 10 consequently. Note: Provide no beverages to a next door store called âSo Juicyâ where you can find almost all kinds of drinks and juices included your choice of toppings.
Tips to visit: Parking fee was a little turned down for me. Two ways to enter; better going toward underground space. First off look for an elevator; afterwards whine in either 3rd or 4th which belongs Chefâs Table food yard up the Unimart for your better convenience
Would definitely recommended. Choose wisely! Happy...
Read moreYou won't believe what peaked my interest to go to this place. If you have ever experienced a void inside you which you translate as the "11am hunger" where no food in the house is good enough for you and all you really need is some good restaurant food to kill that hunger - you probably have the food delivery apps operating as your best friend for this reason. I ordered a few times through FoodPanda (a popular food-delivery app) from this place - some knowingly and some unknowingly - and all times, my order came in mint condition. Which was so rare for restaurants in Dhaka city.
So, when me and my friend decided to spend a really bougie day in a fancy place we both were like, "hey let's go there!". She was like, "umm okay" as she never tasted their food before. So, it was a great opportunity for me to visit the place for the first time.
And all I can say is, if you don't like multistoried supermarkets like Unimart - it's okay. But if you are looking for a way to like a supermarkets like Unimart, please go to this place. It's a two-storied (2nd and 3rd) restaurant complex with some of your local favorites (such as 'Hakka Dhaka' and 'ChaTime') and exclusive restaurants that specialize in international/local cuisine(like Absolute Korean, Dos Locos etc). The service, wherever you go is impeccable. The music that plays throughout the complex is soothing and does not kill your mood. The place looks incredible and the spaceous complex never feels too crowded. In daylight, it has amazing sunlight sifting through the window even though its a closed-complex. They have pretty amazing juicebars as well.
So, if you are currently in Dhaka or looking for better places to explore within Dhaka, I highly recommend you this place. Its a uniquely pleasant experience that will leave you surely in a very good...
