Seasonal Tastes is a relaxed buffet restaurant inside The Westin. It's a place for luxury, comfort dining. You'll get an elite aura inside the place. You'll be well assisted and served throughout the time. We had not a single dissatisfaction against their service and stuff.

Their stuff are very gentle, helpful, well behaved and mannered. They'll be at your service anytime.

Coming to their food, It's awesome. Yes, I've tried many buffets in Dhaka. And, I'll keep Westin at No. 1. They had lesser number of items in their buffet menu but had the tastiest and qualityful items. All the items I've tasted were equally delicious. Their Mutton Rogan Josh, Mutton Nihari are top notch. Other significant items include lamb stew, lamb kefta, prawn fry from the live kitchen, dumplings, Arabinan Fish biriyani ( i forgot the exact name), Chicken Saslic, Tandori Chicken.

They've a tasty desert segment also. Gulab Jamoon, Rasagolla, different flavoured ice-creams, Different Pastries, Khonafa, Yogurt and others. All the items were good.

One thing I want to mention, they've a large space for the buffet but their decoration seemed very simple for me. They might think to add something in their Interior decoration.

The buffet is quite expensive. But for the service they provide, you need to pay.

Note: They don't include drinks in their buffet. So, you need to pay for it. You can also have juice instead of soft drinks.

Food: 9.5/10 Service:...

Westin Dhaka so the hotel is located at a stone's throw away from Gulshan 2 circle. The hotel stand tall with a sky scraping building. The security at the hotel is good and they are taking all the precautions for covid checks. The Day we went there was a large gathering ; possibly a marriage reception was taking place. So which means they have a laid out floor for parties. Above this level there was also a bar, which offered all kinds of alcohol and the cocktails. Then there was the level at which buffet spread was laid out. There were 2 live counters : one for pasta , puchka , etc and the other one was for roast. Apart from this the menu had various salads, cheese, bread, hummus, pita bread, fruits counter, pizza slice corner, honey chicken, fish, prawn, crab, soup, paya, some vegetarian option to offer. There was also a wide range of desserts to offer from ice cream to baklawa to pitha, to misthi doi to rasgulla, etc. The only major thing I found missing was any gravy item in non veg to go as a final main course. The staff was really cordial and helpful. Also there is BOGOF offer on certain cards apart from half charge for kids. Go ahead and enjoy your buffet at...

The Westin, Dhaka, located on Main Gulshan Avenue, delivers a reliable 5-star experience in the city’s prime diplomatic and business district. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and feature the signature Heavenly Bed—exceptionally comfortable for a restful sleep. Staff are professional and attentive, ensuring smooth check-in, housekeeping, and concierge service. The gym is well-maintained, and the indoor pool, though compact, is a welcome perk. Dining options like Seasons offer high-quality international buffets, especially for breakfast, though prices are on the higher side. The lobby lounge is great for meetings or a relaxing drink. While the hotel lacks strong local character—typical of global chains—it excels in cleanliness, comfort, and consistency. Wi-Fi is mostly reliable, though occasional dips occur in rooms. The location is a major plus, steps away from embassies, restaurants, and cafes. Ideal for business travelers and visitors seeking a polished, stress-free stay. While not the most luxurious in terms of design flair, it sets a high standard for service and comfort in Dhaka. Minor drawbacks don’t outweigh the...

Been there 3 times for buffet. Never going again. First time(2020) the experience was good. We loved their food and atmosphere. The restaurant ensured its class and taste. 2nd time(2021) we went for Ifter+Dinner buffet. All we got is disappointment. Most of the items were tasteless, cold and they didn’t bother to refill them. After a short ifter, we came back and couldn’t have dinner properly for this reason. 3rd and last attempt was yesterday, 31st december. As my husband was fond of Westin and it was close to our home, we decided to give it another chance. And seasonal taste just disappointed us again. This time we went for brunch buffet and found out less items were served than usual. 90% items were not warm, sitting there who knows how long. Couldn't find any chef at live stations and after asking they just told me to take the cooked foods kept there. I mean, if I had to take the cooked food, what's the meaning of live station! I had a high expectation for desserts but... whatever, never going Westin for buffets again.

The Seasonal Tastes restaurant at the Westin has always been a favorite buffet destination in the city. I visited with my family last weekend for brunch and was slightly disappointed at the experience. The restaurant seemed a little understaffed and the present staff also appeared to be distracted. At the Kebab/Grill section, my Kebabs were served burnt, something I never imagined would happen at a place like this. My daughter wanted the cotton candy and a machine was quite visible in the desserts section. However none of the staff was available to operate it. Once we could find someone, he could not prepare a cotton candy after multiple attempts lasting more than 15 minutes. The assortment remains great and overall the food experience continues to delight me. It just seems the team got a little rusty during the lockdowns.
