Tucked away on the golden shores of Barbados, this unassuming BBQ venue is a hidden gem where smoky flavors meet the rhythm of crashing waves. It’s the kind of place where sand-dusted flip-flops and the scent of sizzling seafood create an unforgettable island experience.

Whilst the speciality is the fish cutters, due to dietary requirements I requested whether they had any chicken or vegetarian alternative. Kirt was happy to swap out the fish for chicken and what a taste treat it was. The spice mix was fabulous and certainly packed another punch!

We loved winding down at Kirt’s Beach Bar after a day of sun, sand, and snorkelling. It’s a super relaxed spot right on Holetown Beach with the most spectacular view of the Caribbean at sunset. The team running it were absolutely lovely—so welcoming and helpful. They even gave my wife a lift to the ATM, which was incredibly kind and much appreciated. Kirt is an amazing fellow who helped us arrange our boat tour as well as jet skis. He also cooked us some amazing chicken and prawns on the beach. Great person to talk to and very knowledgeable about the island. I would 100% recommend Kirt for anyone who visits Barbados and needs a boat and jet ski.
