Café DeLux — Restaurant in Antwerp

The place is very nice, a pleasant atmosphere to spend time with friends. However, one of the staff members is quite disrespectful. When I called him over to ask for the bill, he made a very stern face and gestured "wait." Later, when we called him over again, he sarcastically said "the bill? okay, okay" and walked away. No one came for the bill for 20 minutes. When he came back again, he asked me to move my chair in Dutch, apparently indicating that he couldn't pass through, but since I didn't speak the language, I didn't understand what he said. He then forcefully nudged my back and tried to push my chair forward while I was sitting. This is very disrespectful. You cannot touch anyone...

I had a sad experience at this bar. My friend and I ordered some gin tonics, but unfortunately, we were served the wrong variety of gin. We didn't realize the mistake until after we paid at the counter. We were then charged double the price for the drinks we didn't even order. When we brought it to the attention of the bartender, they were incredibly unpolite and dismissive of our concerns. It was clear that they didn't care about our satisfaction or their mistake. I was never treated in a such rude way in bar. That‘s sad because up to that moment the atmosphere...

They spilled the half of the beer glass on me and the coffee on the floor. Which is okay… but when I asked for a compensation(discount) they just deduce the coffee. They didn’t even renew the beer glass. So paid full price for a half glass of beer. Horrible experience. Waiter did not even care about the situation. At least we are given a towel to...
