We came in here excited after many recommendations! Service was really nice and the setting was minimal but cosy. That being said, all I care about is food and the pizza was very basic. I chose a special white pizza and my partner always the nduja. Even with this extra oomph on the pizzas I would not be keen to recommend this place to friends. We thought the pizza tasted more like a flammkuchen. Not sure if we were unfortunate and we came on a day when someone was in training (as we also had to wait 40 min), but it is definitely not in the top half of best pizzas I have ever eaten. Since their move to this beautiful venue in the Kerkstraat I’ve been so lucky to eat here twice already. I’m happy to note they have made it an option to reserve a spot outside, which enhances the chance on a sunny terrace with the cool of the trees. We dined here about a year ago. We had a big lunch so did not feel like eating a whole pizza each and asked if we could share a pizza. We were however not allowed to share a pizza and had to order a whole pizza per person, which ruined the vibes. We should have left but stayed because of the good reviews. The taste of the pizza was ok, but it was floppy and soaked by the ingredients. We left after a few bites. Worst part...
