Lady hostess was very rude. You could see she treats the Caucasian better than asians; they were being led to their table and for us, we entered the restaurant and the first thing she asked us was "cash?" And pointed at the back of the restaurant without saying anything. While we were sitting down, she threw the menus on the table, and while on the other tables with Caucasians were greeted politely, handing on menus to their hands.
Also witnessed that she was arguing with another customer who ordered takeaway and was she was scolding them for being "rushed". The customers were asking how long would it take politely, and the lady hostess was infuriated and shouted at the customers. What an unpleasant experience!
Food quality - 3/5. Fong mei bbq's meat are much better. Service - 0/5.
We were having questions about the menu if we could have mixed meat and she raised her voice telling us not to speak anymore mandarin (she seemed annoyed by customers who speaks mandarin).
Had experience this twice as the second visit was persuaded by a friend who wanted to try this place and gave a benefit of the doubt. And here we go. Anyways, this will be our last visit in this place with such...

The woman cashier has always been rude, but this time she took it to another level. When I asked something she just kept giving me snarky comments and answers. However, something that really threw me off was when I was trying to pay. You can only pay in cash there and I only had a few bills of 10 in my wallet. One of them had a small tear at the corner. She asked whether I had a newer bills because this one was teared. I told her sorry but this is the only bill I had. She told me that teared notes wouldn’t be useful, I said that this one isn’t even teared that bad. Then her tone of voice started to sound snarky again and she told me that these “type” of bills wouldn’t be accepted at cash deposit machines. After, she started checking every bill in front of me. This was soooo rude.
I will never come here again and to the woman behind the cashier:...
Read moreThe only good thing about this restaurant is the meat—it’s fresher and better than what you’d find at a typical Chinese place, but the prices are just too high.
28€ for Peking duck, which turned out to be a plate of slices with some pancakes and vegetables, is excessive. The menu said “1/2 duck,” so I accepted the price, expecting a generous portion, but all I got were a few slices—and no rice.
This dish usually costs around 18€ elsewhere, with rice included.
The menu is a mess, with crossed-out prices and handwritten notes all over. Some prices are wildly inconsistent with others that seem fair.
The hype around this place as “a chaotic spot with great food” feels like hipster nonsense. I’d appreciate the unpolished vibe if the prices were reasonable. But with such high prices, the chaos just feels like a way to charge...
