Pizzabar Caspino — Restaurant in Antwerp

I was really looking forward to having a dinner here. No wait time, sat at the table around 21:05, placed the order, drinks brought at 21:10. At 21:43 still no pizza served. At 21:45 we were made aware that our pizzas will start getting prepared and it would take another 10 minutes more or less. Please note: there was no prior communication on time expectation. The guy was working alone in the kitchen. Sad for him and also sad for us, we could have come another time and day. At that time the majority of places in ‘t Eilandje have closed kitchens already so we went home hangry to have dinner 🥲 The place looks really good & the smell of the pizzas was divine. Too bad we had to wait for the food +40 minutes, and lost the evening. I’d probably give it another chance once there is some more staff....

Very disappointed. We had a reservation at 20:00. We had to wait 20 min just to be attended. Then the drinks came 20 min after. The pizzas arrived at 21:30, so 1h30min later just 30 min before closing. We still had desserts but we couldn’t order what we wanted because it was too late and they gave the tiramisu to another table. And even on top of that, having a bad service, late food it happened to be that they were the owners themselves and we still had to pay the full amount as we had a normal dinner. Very sad they do not take...

I went to celebrate my birthday here after reading all great reviews and it was definitely worth the hype. The restaurant is set up in a way that everyone sits around the kitchen area. You can see them make your pizza or drinks which is an experience in itself. Also their pizzas are innovating and new. I took the Alle Pere and it was amazing. Also the desert, vanilla ice with pistachio liquor was great! The couple running it is so welcoming and friendly and I wish them the best. We will...
