A Fairytale Experience!
From the moment we arrived, it felt as if we had stepped straight into a scene from The Secret Garden. The path to the tea room was enchanting, and upon entering, we were greeted by an exquisite outdoor setting that felt straight out of a storybook. Inside, the decor was pure vintage elegance, with intricate walls and thoughtful touches that created a beautifully classic ambiance.
The staff were wonderfully kind and attentive, adding to the charm of the experience. We were lucky to be seated at what I believe was the best spot in the Tea Room—offering the perfect blend of privacy and a sweeping view of the room’s beauty.
Before our Afternoon Tea, we were treated to complimentary bite-sized desserts, each one decadent and delightful! I’m still dreaming about the passionfruit treat! Our Afternoon Tea itself was marvellous; we ordered both the Vegetarian and the classic options. The sandwiches were delicious, offering a range of delightful flavours that were truly satisfying. Our lunch had been elevated to art by sheer mistake! The crab was seasoned to perfection, topped with a generous spoon of caviar, and plated...
Read moreGreat place for afternoon tea, good sandwiches, great home baked scones and tasty little tartlets. The only thing that can be improved: if you order just coffee and a tartlet, they bring you a plate with lots of choice and let you pick one, whereas if you order an afternoon tea, they bring you a random tartlet (of the same plate). It's not clear to me why you don't get to choose it in this case, but the owner made no problem in exchanging ours when we asked . Very friendly owner, and a place very nicely decorated. Absolute must try for some romantic quality...
