I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience I had at your establishment. The quality of your coffee, especially the special light blend, is truly unparalleled. Warm...

I visited the shop in Antwerp and ordered a warm and a cold beverage. The barista suggested an orange and a Mexican coffee. I asked him twice if he could make the Mexican cold, as I didn’t want a warm one, to which he agreed. We ended up being served 2 warm drinks and when I asked him to change mine for a cold one, he said (and I quote) : “where are you from” and when I asked “why is that question important?” He said “you all American people and down from below América are always the same , changing your decisions”

In the end I asked him just to give me ice as I didn’t want to complicate myself with such an horrendous service and comment. I sent a message on IG to the franchise account and they couldn’t care less about my feedback.

Last but not least, the bathroom was really filthy and the area where it is located...

tl;dr Yet another coffee establishment using “specialty” as a tool to charge higher prices without actually delivering higher quality coffee experience.

Double espresso = 4€ — that’s 15-20% more expensive than other “specialty” coffee houses in the city.

Espresso extraction is running too fast, which results in quite a sour shot. Yet another place with an amazing espresso equipment but lacking proper barista expertise.

I was served the espresso in a paper cup, which is not the way a “high end” espresso houses serve espresso (it should be in a hot glass/ceramic cup). When I asked the barista to have the espresso served in a glass I was told “they don’t have any” while there are clearly clean espresso glasses placed on the top of the espresso machine. 🤔
