I think they got their friends to post the 5* reviews. Honestly. We went there for dinner. We're vegan so ordered two suitable items, the aubergine curry and the toor daal with spinach. We were served two different dishes. A vegetable jalfrezi, not on the vegan menu and I'm pretty sure I saw the chef getting ghee out of the fridge for one of the dishes they cooked, the "toor" daal was made with mainly black urid Dal, so a completely different texture. When we asked about the dishes, we were told that the aubergine curry was out so he'd given us a vegetable jalfrezi. Who does that? We sent it back. I'm lactose intolerant and didn't want a night of fun and frolics. We asked for tap water and were told (not politely) "tap water is not possible we have mineral water" so we didn't get any drinks. The side dishes of naan bread and the raiti were also really scrumptious. It added up to a wonderful dinner, that enlightened our hearts with joy. I certainly recommend this...

Did I mention,...
