Pasta-Gusto — Restaurant in Bruges

The worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in my life. Should’ve came to check the reviews before entering. We were with a toddler who was hungry after getting off the train to Brugge. From the moment we walked into the restaurant the owner/ waiter was extremely rude and treated us with disrespect.

When we walked into the (now understandably) empty restaurant not knowing whether to seat ourselves / to be seated, I asked “may we take a seat?” And he hollered “To eat?!”, which was already a very weird welcome. When our drinks arrived and he was laying down the coasters, my toddler (being only 2) took one in her hand to play with and he angrily snatched it away from her and slapped it back down onto the table. The food itself was overpriced and tasted like microwave food. We ordered a spaghetti bolognese and a lasagna and the sauce of both was super watery. We knew he was in a bad mood so didn’t want to trouble him for an extra plate for my toddler to eat from. We decided to use the free plate from where we had finished the bread, and even before my toddler had started eating, he walked over angrily, slapped down a plastic plate and told us off, saying the plate is too small and if we get tomato sauce on the table mats it will ruin the table mats?!?! Even when I went to pay the bill, he was extremely rude in handing over the bill for me to check. I actually don’t check it as my usual practice so when I didn’t make any comment and held my phone out ready to pay for it, he looked at me impatiently and said “is it ok?! I’m waiting for you.”

Even as we were leaving we could hear him banging the table and chairs, almost irritated that we had eaten there. My husband and I had good laugh when we walked out as the service was so terrible it’s...

Worse place I ever ate! Tasteless and cheap food. I orsered a salad for 20€, it was so small I thought they must have forgotten to put salad inside, so I asked the young lady waitress is she could put some more salad inside, she looked at me with a arrogant face saying ' the salad is like this'. Point. For 20€, even in Switzerland it's cheaper! The pizzas od my friends were horrible! Even Aldi has better pizzas! And the burger my other friend at wasn not fresh, but it has been warmed! It was hard like a shoe sole on the outside and dry! She couldn't almost cut it through! The toilets are in the middle of the restaurant room, means that you can hear and smell when people are inside or leave! Micro wave binging permanently. We couldn't even pay the bill separately. All in all a horrible experience and waaaaay too expensive for this bad food and cheap...

Expensive dishes, poor service and this restaurant has the most outraegous rules! This waitress wouldn't allow an extra chair to place our belongings even though it was really empty? And insisted that we order individual dishes for each guest otherwise an extra charge is imposed. And when we didn't order any drinks, the waitress kept the drink glasses on the table in a rather rude manner with a black face.
