BRUSSELS CHERRY DELICATESSEN — Restaurant in Brussels

As a Greek native I don't know where to begin with. The Americano coffee which is basically espresso with water was horrible! I mean how dumb someone must be to fail preparing this? The taste was too bitter and burnt. The pies were nothing special, the prices are through the roof and the best part of all? The most rude and incompetent customer service I have ever seen. I really want to know where this attitude and incompetence comes from because in Greece we are very customer friendly and this place would have gone bankrupt and this lady would have been fired the first hour...

The girl working there is amazing — kind, helpful, super fast, and always with great energy, like a busy bee. Her service really made the visit enjoyable.

I love the place, even though I originally went to try the Greek pastry and it didn’t taste exactly like the authentic Greek version. Still, it was nice, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming.

One small note: it would be great if the staff could learn a bit more about food intolerances, so customers with special dietary needs feel more comfortable.

In my modest opinion this is one of the best coffee places in this part of Brussels. Firstly; they serve Hausbrandt, one of the tastiest Trieste - Italian coffees I have tried. Secondly, they are Greeks, and Greeks know what good coffee is. I usually order flat-white take away. The guys are professional and each time the coffee is perfect.
