I have been a victim of the worst discrimination in my life in Europe today (Saturday 24.10.2022 at 8:03 pm) in this restaurant (I have been living for more than four years in Germany). The mall was closing so the doors of the restaurant inside the mall were closing as well. I was with my parents in the second floor of the restaurant, which both have reduced mobility, and we went downstairs to get out of the restaurant. We did not know that the door in the first floor was already closed and the only exit was in the second floor. I mentioned to the manager (wearing a black cap) that we wanted to leave and he said that we could only go out in the second floor, I try talking to him he did not listen or gave any option. My parents are 70 years old and it was enough effort going down. The problem is that the restaurant did not say anywhere that the only exit is in the second floor. I find the manager, and all the staff, very insensitive, boarding to discrimination towards elderly people and non Belgian people (we were speaking in English). The manager treated us this way and the whole staff didn't say anything. I can't believe we were victims of this treatment in a country where people are so respectful, tolerant and sensitivite. People like this, especially the manager, should not be allowed to have this responsibility (unless the staff goes through customer service, diversity and emotional intelligence training, which they clearly need), since they have zero emotional intelligence, and their actions are very close to ageism and racism. Clearly, I won't enter again this restaurant anywhere...
Read moreLiked it !! The perfect Burger place in Brussels . We have been meaning to try this place for quite some time . Being a Vegetarian comes with its own issues especially in Europe . We want to have options too .The first time here , We tried the Veggie sandwich , Fries and Drinks here . Which is actually not a sandwich but a burger with mushroom, fried onions, tomato, lettuce . We liked it but would have loved it if were a veggie patty 😀 .
Absolutely loved the “Fries” . We went for the spicy version which has a spicy powder sprinkled all over it . I can go back here again and again for it .
Next time , will try the milkshake here since I didn’t this time .
Liked : We can have salted peanuts while eating in the queue There is information on where the potatoes of the day are from . The fries which I felt was better than Belgian Fries . The best part is that it is fried in Peanut oil and the information is put on the menu . (Vegetarians need to know this) 4.Unlimited Drinks 😉 They have lot of seating in both top and ground floor . Staff are doing their job and are helpful
Dislike : That they don’t have more options for vegetarians It is high on price . Especially the veggie sandwich which has no meat can be priced a little low .
Giving it 3 stars only because of the limit on...
Read moreI have personally tried all the major hamburger chains (Mc Donald's, Burger King, Quick, ... ). I consider Five Guys by far to offer the best quality when it comes to burgers and fries. A nice addition is you can choose from a large amount of toppings and sauces and they are included in the price. The downside of Five Guys: there is no menu option, so even when you order a burger, fries and a drink the bill will tick up. Current price at the date of this review was € 9,25 for a regular burger with toppings included and € 5,50 for a medium portion of French fries. Then you still have to add a drink (you don't need to) and roughly you're looking to at least € 18 for a (basic) full hamburger meal. Not cheap, and this is for the cheapest full meal option (burger, fries and a drink). Way more than for a regular menu option at the other hamburger chain restaurants. Although the French fries were tasty (the potatoes actually come from the Netherlands), there was a lot of mush in the bag. Summarized: good quality, but slightly overpriced and due to the lack of a menu option the bill ticks up. When it comes to interior: tastes differ but it ain't exactly cosy with the bright red overtones. No diner style booths either, feels more like a factory cafeteria than an...
