La Sardine — Restaurant in Brussels

I randomly came across this place, saw a long queue and decided to give it a try. The sandwich was delicious and affordable by Brussels standards, though a bit less grease would have made it perfect.

If you do not have a Belgian bank account, you cannot use payqonic. So, you can only pay in cash here as a non-resident.

Unfortunately, as some of the comments also mention, one of the ladies was very rude. If you're a business which accepts cash, please make sure you have enough coins to offer change to your customers. Customers shouldn't have to deal with your attitude. This experience marred an otherwise...

A good sandwich place in the heart of Brussels. The aroma of the food inside captivated us and we entered. The place offers 5-6 kinds of sandwiches and they are decently priced for their size. We got the spicy tuna and fried aubergine sandwich. The combination was very pleasant. We paid 6 euros per each. But waiting inside was almost unbearable since they cook everything on stoves that have no proper ventilation. Our clothes now smell like frying oil. The ladies working were super nice...

CASH ONLY- late review. We stumbled across this deliciousness during our visit from New York. And I have to say, the sandwiches are amazing!! So delicious from the spread to the bread. Service was amazing!!! We didn’t have cash on us but the Owner said we can come back the next day and pay cash. So nice of her!!! Thank you!!
