Probably my favourite place in Brussels! If you want something different, special, funky yet qualitative and affordable, this is where you need to go! May it be the decoration/atmosphere that is an incredible and tasteful mix between modern and traditional, The food that is always seasonal, thought through and truly delicious, The drinks (wine especially) that seem to be selected not by convenience but in order for the customers to have a real experience, The staff that genuinely look like they are having fun… It really ticks all the boxes in my opinion! Would recommend to anyone!

Overall a pleasant experience. A lively outdoor terrace under a big tree on a little picturesque corner. Good selection of drinks. My cider on tap was tasty - with a sour note and refreshing. The Padron peppers (pictured) were spectacular. But I would stay away from the watery, flavourless eggplant. The n’duja clam dish was good as was the pulled pork bun. The fries looked tasty though we didn’t have room. It would have been nice to get bread - they brought it to some tables but not us. Many other interesting dishes to try next time. A cute find in the center.

While the area is known for its antique shops and exotic art galleries, it has more to offer: If you’re looking for a post-gallery meal, or simply a pleasant spot to while away an evening, le Café des Minimes is here to help. The team behind le Café des Minimes has worked out how to seduce its local crowd: with quality products (including natural wines, local beers, seasonal menus), and a vibe that’s cool without being achingly trendy. And when the sun is shining, diners flock to the beautiful outdoor terrace. Open every day!

This was by far the worst experience I had in such a place in Brussels. To start, this is in fact a bar, but they offer a brunch service on Sundays (not sure about Saturday), and this review is specifically about the brunch. We didn’t know the place, but when looking for somewhere to have a lunch, on a sunny day, the terrace outside looked inviting and since it was almost full (most of the times a good sign), we thought it would be good to try something new. We took a table and waited for a long time waiting that someone acknowledged our presence... it didn’t happen... My wife got up and went to talk with one of the waiters that was rude. Eventually we got the menu’s and placed the order after we waited a while more for someone to come. The order took an eternity to arrive and there was a dish missing. The waiter (another one) said that it should be coming soon, so we started to eat. After a good while we went inside to try to find out where was the other dish and the waiter (the first one), again rudely, said that it would be ready soon. In the end we finished the food we had, asked for the check and said that we never got one of the dishes. The waiter (the rude one) asked if we wanted to wait that he would reorder and we said no, that at that moment it would be pointless, so he offered to deleted it from the order. He claimed that there were a lot of clients (true), the team was small and that the kitchen does not have the conditions to serve everybody, like that was our fault... In my opinion, if you don’t have the conditions, don’t offer the service or don’t place so many tables outside. By the way, the food was not bad, but nothing really special, and when we went inside to pay with the card we’ve noticed that they had made a mistake with the check, just to have a perfect end to a...

Really disappointed in this place, we arrived and stood for 20 minutes because no one came to find us a place to sit, the chairs are like school chairs, super uncomfortable, the food from the starter is already bad, old cheeses, cold and oily fries Old, extremely overcooked pasta, very unpleasant.

The attention of the waiters is slow, and they let the plates and glasses accumulate on the table, there was no more space, they bring the wine without glasses, the water without glasses, and so on...

The cleanliness of the place is questionable, especially the dirty bathrooms, the sink is black! I didn't know if I was washing my hands or getting dirty.

Plus point, I really liked the music, Madona, Air, No Doubt and the terrace is beautiful.

I would not return, I do...

Bit confused about this place. We went there in April 2022. Terrace is for sure nice if you can put your hands on a table, but the food was really below our expectations in regards to the prices asked. Not to mention service which was both terribly slow, messy and... rude(!?!) actually. Tenants/servers (not sure who is who) seem to have a lot of friends coming there, which might explain the dreadful service as they just casually hang with them most of the time, as well as the numerous 'good reviews' on their google page that seem a bit exaggerated now that we've been there. We really wanted to like this place but I would honestly neither recommend neither go back...
