Editing my previous 4-star review. We came again to have a nice lunch here, but forgot our bike locks. They had an open table right by the window: and we thought “Great! We can just watch our bikes while we eat.” We came in, and the older waiter tried to seat us at the back, and I explained the situation, and he said “No, no, no. That is a 4-person table and you are only two.” I said “But we need to watch our bikes, or we cannot stay here” and he shrugged his shoulders and gave a “Not my problem” response. He could have just as easily pulled the two tables apart to make a two person table, but opted to be rude and unhelpful instead. With so many great Lebanese places in the neighbourhood, I would choose one of them over these rude, unhelpful people.
Good food, but a bit pricey for what it was. She ordered the vegetarian plate, I had the vegan plate: much more food on the vegan plate! Good quality ingredients, but the place lacks attention to detail. Also, it got very crowded—everyone is very tightly crammed in and it was hard to hear each other speak. But a good meal...
Read moreLes Vignes du Liban offers a delightful experience for anyone craving authentic Lebanese cuisine in a modern restaurant. Standout dishes include the kibbeh nayeh and the N’khaat, a sublime dish featuring tender lamb's brain, garlic, lemon juice, mint, and olive oil—a combination that dances on the palate with a symphony of flavors. Both dishes showcase the restaurant's commitment to traditional recipes, fresh ingredients, and the bold flavors characteristic of Lebanese cooking. Whether you are a connoisseur of Middle Eastern food or looking to try something new, Les Vignes du Liban is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. The waiters and the owner are very kind...

I think it's a family based place and I think they need additional staff because you end up being left for long periods of time without service. You can rightly see delays and lack of structure of service started to irritate customers who end up wishing for the bill and not managing to try the home cooked puddings! So delish! But I think if the restaurant can improve their service then we will come back. We think it's all made from scratch so worth trying! They may even be planning on...
