sadly the new owners don't understand, and don't care about making good pizzas, this was one of the best pizzerias IN THE WORLD outside of Italy, now it's rubbish, burned leaves of i don't know what, they didn't keep the key people, or/and didn't ask them to transmit the knowledge to the new team, but, much worse, they just don't care, the Grappa they serve is just good enough to serve as rocket fuel, it's not grappa, it's industrial alcohol with some added taste of grapes, and yes, the new owner is not Italian, that is OK, but he pretends he is, don't lie. all this is the original owners fault, je should have been more careful selecting the new owner. do NOT go here, try la botega, la pizza e bella, or my favorites, PizzaVino or Pizzeria Nomèa dove la farina diventa arte. i'm sure pizza here CAN be good, but that will be an accident. the last thing i heard here is "oh, you don't like the burnt leaves ?, you should have told us !"...
Read moreHands down among the best pizzerias in Brussels. Good quality of ingredients, great dough and consistency. Last week, however, when arriving at 9:45 PM with two friends we were absolutely treated disgracefully. We wanted to enjoy a good bottle of Italian wine and some pizza as late night snacks (as we had already eaten). Despite announcing this explicitly and ordering one of the most expensive bottles of wine on the menu, we were bluntly and arrogantly told that we could not share two pizzas with three people. We ended up leaving and spending our money (35 euro pp) in a pizzeria a...
Read moreVery traditional Italian place, with a wide variety of pizza options and a slected offer of pasta. Cozy but still very popular. It was crowded when we arrived but the waiter still opened a space for us, anyways, it is better if you go with reservation. I had buffalina pizza, my friends ordered casearia (four cheeses), and capricciosa. It was possible to change the ham for another vegetarian ingredient which made it easier for my vegetarian friend. We had a slight problem with the drinks that we ordered but the restaurant personnel sorted it out nicely and left us satisfied. We had Tiramisu in the end, very recommended and delicious. Really liked the atmosphere. There was a birthday group during our stay, and it was really nice to see how the personnel supported the...
