I was looking for a quick lunch after a long meeting, because I was famished. While looking nearby, I found an Italian restaurant called Paolo's choice. The tables outside were full of people, so I asked if I could stay inside. The waiter directed me to a single table that was situated right in the middle, although there were plenty of empty tables. I didn't mind, I just wanted to eat. The service was very quick. I had a beer, some water, and a Napoli pizza. The pizza arrived very fast, and it smelled and looked delicious. The taste was good and I ate very fast. The restaurant seemed like a popular place for people working nearby, and many look like regulars. All in all, it was a good pizza and service.

Paolo's idea is a REAL ITALIAN PIZZERIA with one of the best pizzas in Brussels. It is located next to the Cinquantenaire park in a convenient location; internal and external room. The atmosphere is extraordinary, fun, pleasant: warm and welcoming, thanks above all to all the restaurateurs who are excellent "hosts". Five of us had dinner and were served and satisfied several times (patient and kind staff). The waiter who served us: a super nice and helpful guy. The pizzas: special and ordinary. Wonderful the "PORCA VACCA”

It has been a long time since I had been there, but decided to order the pizza and tiramisu- I was clearly reminded why I am skipping that place… pizza was burned and very liquidy, but the tiramisu was a joke (I will just add- we ordered it at my birthday, therefore the candle)- it was not tiramisu (not even sure what was that) and I cannot imagine how can you charge 7€… there are so many great places in Brussels which serve delicious pizza, so better to skip Paolo’s idea.

sadly the new owners don't understand, and don't care about making good pizzas, this was one of the best pizzerias IN THE WORLD outside of Italy, now it's rubbish, burned leaves of i don't know what, they didn't keep the key people, or/and didn't ask them to transmit the knowledge to the new team, but, much worse, they just don't care, the Grappa they serve is just good enough to serve as rocket fuel, it's not grappa, it's industrial alcohol with some added taste of grapes, and yes, the new owner is not Italian, that is OK, but he pretends he is, don't lie. all this is the original owners fault, je should have been more careful selecting the new owner. do NOT go here, try la botega, la pizza e bella, or my favorites, PizzaVino or Pizzeria Nomèa dove la farina diventa arte. i'm sure pizza here CAN be good, but that will be an accident. the last thing i heard here is "oh, you don't like the burnt leaves ?, you should have told us !"...

Hands down among the best pizzerias in Brussels. Good quality of ingredients, great dough and consistency. However, severe lack of customer orientedness and outright arrogance will not see me going back. I live in the neighbourhood and we’ve had over 40 pizzas from Paolo’s in the past year alone, taking friends and family. Last week, however, when arriving at 9:45 PM with two friends we were absolutely treated disgracefully. We wanted to enjoy a good bottle of Italian wine and some pizza as late night snacks (as we had already eaten). Despite announcing this explicitly and ordering one of the most expensive bottles of wine on the menu, we were bluntly and arrogantly told that we could not share two pizzas with three people. We ended up leaving and spending our money (35 euro pp) in a pizzeria a...

Very traditional Italian place, with a wide variety of pizza options and a slected offer of pasta. Cozy but still very popular. It was crowded when we arrived but the waiter still opened a space for us, anyways, it is better if you go with reservation. I had buffalina pizza, my friends ordered casearia (four cheeses), and capricciosa. It was possible to change the ham for another vegetarian ingredient which made it easier for my vegetarian friend. We had a slight problem with the drinks that we ordered but the restaurant personnel sorted it out nicely and left us satisfied. We had Tiramisu in the end, very recommended and delicious. Really liked the atmosphere. There was a birthday group during our stay, and it was really nice to see how the personnel supported the...
