Going to a restaurant, is an experience, part of it is the food, but the most important, the idea of going to a place paying for the service is tonhave a great moment and for tha, the quality of the food is one of the ingredients for achieve it. For me, if the service is as bad as the one you get in this restaurant, the rest, the ambience, the music and even the quality of the food is irrelevant. Since the first moment I got in the restaurant I didn't felt welcomed. When my wife arrived a little moment later without toldnher anything about not being welcome at all, we were not attended by anyone, and when we asked, all the people working there, including the manager told us "a moment", "wait", etc etc. and one of the waiter not even looked at us when we were asking for being attended. after that the one that took our orderbwas also very rudenti my wife, then they brought our food and my pasta was made completely different to the original recipe and I wasn't sure if it was or not what I asked for, and the guy was pissed of with me for asking if it was the dish I ordered or not, and the minutes passed and one of the dishes weren't served (my wife's) and webhave to wait for get attention again and the guys passed and asked what did she wanted to eat he didn't knew and didnt take the time to hear us telling that she already ordered.. then.. another guy passed by the table putting the bottle of water for me without tellng us anything just leaving it without a glass...wenhave to ask again for the glass I he again answered in a very bad humor.. after that we decided to tell the manager that the service was so bad and he just told us "yes I will see it with them later" and nothing changed...when we finished nobody took our plates and even the manager stopped in front of our table, watched it with the finished plates and didn't do anything.... at the end and after wauting anlot more time for the bill, there was not even the littlest commercial gest ... so.. It was really a very bad experience.. and then most incredible thing is that in Brussels most of the restaurants have a really amazing service , and some are unbelievable amazing.. so I think this place tries to compensate fornthe others.. this place has all the bad service, the other places in Brussels doesn't...
Read moreI recently had a dining experience at Ricotta and Parmesan, an Italian restaurant, and I have a few points to share. Here's a summary: Nice Decoration and Friendly Waitresses: The restaurant's decor was visually appealing, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.
The waitresses were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and providing assistance with the menu.
Unprofessional Behavior of Some Waiters: However, during our meal, I observed some waiters eating with a full mouth while serving customers. This was unprofessional and detracted from the overall dining experience, as it didn't meet the expected standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Concerning Mouse Sighting: Another unexpected incident was a mouse running in the restaurant. This was concerning and affected my comfort level as a diner. It raised questions about the establishment's cleanliness and pest control measures.
Delayed Reception: Upon arrival, we greeted an older man at the reception who was busy texting on WhatsApp for a couple of minutes before attending to us. This delayed reception felt unprofessional and left us waiting awkwardly without a proper acknowledgment.
Delicious Lasagna and Calzone: On a positive note, the highlight of our meal was the delicious lasagna and calzone we ordered. The flavors were rich and satisfying, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen.
In conclusion, my dining experience at Ricotta and Parmesan was eventful. While the nice decoration and friendly waitresses were positives, the unprofessional behavior of some waiters, the mouse sighting, and delayed reception were areas of concern. Despite the delicious food, the issues observed during my visit could be improved to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for...
