Exki — Restaurant in Etterbeek

It's a chain restaurant so food is rather good, not overpriced and of good quality, so I rather often take from here my lunch. But the personnel is rather rude, very often not enough plates for food (like square paper plates or ceramic ones, only triangle available but how will you put there not triangle food, I don't know). Today I came and asked one person to bring more plates - was ignored, another one just said in a very irritated way 'We don't have, use triangle ones'. So today I had to take soup instead of my usual meal (piadina with lemon cake on another photo) and to eat my cake like a hobo without any plate. In general the tables are often rather dirty and to have a place you have to clean it on...

The food was tasteful,as per expectation for this exclusive price class. Regretfully the overall cleanliness of both the eating room and the restrooms were disappointing and much below expectation for such classy restaurant. Also the maintenance is substandard. Damaged wall and floor need repair. While being there there was a rain shower and the ceiling started dripping at one place on the shoulder of a client. Most of the staff are friendly. Expensive considering the quality of the food provided. Baked goods can be hit-or-miss, found several times they were burnt at the bottom and dried out on top. A few days ago, their air conditioning was blowing cold air to seated customers (remember, it was 3 degrees outside!).
