(Detailed review below) Food - 4/5 Ambience - 5/5 Accessibility - 4/5 Cost - 3/5 Service - 4/5
Food - A Mediterranean restaurant with a decent mix of options for everyone. The starters, salads, pasta, burger and Mediterranean dishes all come with either vegetarian or vegan (and sometimes both) options. However, it’s usually just one dish from each section. Mains consist of meat cooked on a lava stone! I had the Basta Linguini and it was tasty and nice! Good selection of wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks.
Ambience - Very nice, spacious and clean venue. The decor is mainly white, simple and effective. There were not a lot of diners which seems a shame because the restaurant is pretty good. It still exudes a cosiness about it.
Accessibility - For the most part, it is wheelchair friendly but there is a section of the dining area that is raised (steps).
Cost - As a visitor, it’s hard for me to gauge what’s cheap/expensive but it felt like it was mainly average pricing here, leading towards the upper end. But it is a very nice setting and the food is good.
Service - Staff were friendly and were able to cope with our large group of about 12 people. They were very obliging with moving tables so that we could all be seated together. We had to wait for 40 min for dessert because the kitchen started making it long after we finnished our main food! If you go there be prepared for...
Read moreThe menu offers a variety of dishes, something for everyone. We enjoyed our food, quality ánd quantity were well in order. The service was friendly and reasonably swift, even when the restaurant filled up. (Hint: for Saturday nights, make sure you reserve beforehand! There's a form for it on their website.)
How it could be further improved: more toilets (there's only two in total, so expect queueing or have good timing) and set the automated lights in the toilets to stay on a bit longer. Had the feeling I had to wave my way through the procedure to keep the lights on.
Note - the restaurant prefers cash for payments...
