I'm SO glad I found this place on my holiday in Gent! I first visited on a quiet, sunny Saturday afternoon. The pace of the visitors is slow and relaxed. The environment encourages people to stop and talk to each other and I chatted with lots of strangers. People were occupying comfy vintage armchairs and couches and working away on laptops (free WiFi) or reading books. It's a place where you can stop for a few hours and not feel rushed. I went back the next day which was a rainy Sunday morning and it was much busier than the day before but still had a calm atmosphere. The music was great too. The staff working there made the experience even more enjoyable. They were so friendly and welcoming and all spoke perfect English. The food and drinks are all plant-based (vegan). They have donuts and baked treats in a cabinet which I unfortunately didn't try. I enjoyed a delicious Americano (âŹ2.80) and a lemongrass tea (âŹ4). I thought the tea was VERY overpriced at âŹ4 for a mug of tea but I stayed for over an hour so it was worth it to dry off and avoid the rain. It's very dog-friendly too which is a big bonus! They have a little doggy-bar with lots of water bowls and a tap for free refills. Also, free tap water for humans which seems very rare in Gent so it gets my vote! Would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you Full Circle. I will visit again and again on my future...
Read moreIf you ask me the question, where did you ever drank your best coffee, I directly think about the filter coffee Yf (the owner) always makes me on my own request. More caffeine, less bitterness, filtered, no espresso. Yf is a great barista who listens to his customers and is open to make a personalised coffee to your own taste (which you don't find much in Belgium). What I like about Full Circle Coffee is that they go against the typical Belgian mainstream of coffee making. No extra little sugar or milk with a cookie. No you will find the actually normal barista which lays the focus on pure coffee. Whether espresso, filter or a latte. Next to coffee, you can have tea, chocolate milk, sweets and lunch.
You will pay a bit more than a normal coffee but I do not mind cause it is specialized quality and the taste is so much better than the âŹ2 mud you get in normal bars.
Definitely the place to go in Ghent to drink a great coffee and have a Vegan lunch. 10/10...
Read moreFull Circle Coffee has a laid-back, spacious vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed coffee stop in Ghent. The indoor seating is cosy yet open, and when the sun came out, we moved to the terrace outside, which was just as pleasant.
The owner was incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The coffee selection is top-notch, with four different V60 hand brews on the menuâKenya, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Peru. We tried three: the Kenyan, the Colombian, and the Costa Rican. The Kenyan really stood outâbright, flavourful, and so good we ended up buying a bag to take home. The Costa Rican and Colombian were solid, classic Latin American coffees.
Overall, a fantastic experience and a must-visit for anyone who loves specialty...
