Easily the best and most authentic Chinese-Sichuan restaurant in Ghent. I've travelled to China and Thailand and I'm quite a fan of Asian food. In Belgium it's always a challenge to find Asian restaurants offering dishes which even remotely resemble authentic Chinese food. Most Chinese restaurants offer Asian-European 'fusion'; which isn't necessarily 'bad' but the taste and dishes on offer are mostly there to accommodate for western taste buds. This restaurant however, specialises in authentic Sichuan style and comes close to offering the taste of dishes I remember from China. Especially the 'Pork Belly Sichuan' and 'Fish or Chicken Sichuan Style' are highly recommended if you want to know what Sichuan Chinese style is all about. Be aware it might be more spicy than what you're used to (but still it's less spicy than what you would get served in China). Prices are quite reasonable and fair, with most main dishes served between € 12 and € 17. The place is quite small so making a reservation is recommended. The interior is nothing fancy but cosy, service is friendly. Because most of the dishes are prepared when ordered, expect more waiting time then at your typical take-away Chinese restaurant. People who want to know what real Chinese food, especially Sichuan style is all about, should definitely check out 'Destiny...
Read morefood under the average. High prices and food tasteless, me and my girlfriend had noodles, the first was in tasteless water and with only one shrimps for the price of 16.50€, mine were tiny tiny spaghetti(usually noodles are thicker) with some mid meat and lots of spiciness.. The place itself is normal, very basic and simply but it has a good vibe, the service is good and the waiter is very kind, but the food for this price is a scam. The food should cost 1/3 or they should start to...

We ordered garlic pork belly as appetizer , it's more like garlic cucumber instead of garlic porkbelly :/ the hotpot rice noodle is also too plain. The taste is just ok , for the same amount of money, I will go to Antwerp for the real...
