My visit to Gran Gusto in Ghent was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and hospitality that instantly made me feel at ease. the food was really good! however the waitresses was really terrible. she was pretending to be busy however half the restaurant was empty. half of the time she was sitting and chilling with another person doing nothing at the table. a pitty, the chef deserves better.

edit: some extra information; we were not allowed to order certain foods due to the fact that it was too crowded. also there was no additional information on their wines except "it's good" but the more expensive ones were always better for some...

Food is ok but I don’t like the fact that they charge extra if you want an empty plate for sharing.

We are a party of 4 and ordered 3 main course as my mother is still full from breakfast so she did not want to order anything. We asked for an extra plate so she can just have some taste of our food but we were told that they charge extra for empty plate.
