Little Asia Gent — Restaurant in Ghent

This is one of my favorite asian restaurant before but not anymore after having a rude waitress on telephone when i ordered my favorite menu. How she manage phone calls is really a big minus to your restaurant and she is really rude. i talk to her nicely and even inform her that ill be coming late to pick my order because my train came late. it means i will really going to get my order thats why i called her back about this to inform about it so they wont think i will not come. but instead she is more ruder. how she talks to me is the rudest person i talk to the phone. So even im so hungry ,i didnt pick my order anymore and that is because of her- she is too rude. She didn’t even apologize… Im so upset!!! so i just pick a food in mcdo instead. The owner should think twice on this. Our experience was very disappointing. My husbands order was wrong and then he had to wait another 30 minutes for his food to come, in which time the rest of us had finished eating. The service was not satisfactory, especially for a restaurant in Ghent city. The person in charge made lots of excuses none of which a restaurant should feel necessary to have to make to a customer. While my curry dish was nice it was nothing special. I was even asked to give our order details at the end of our ‘meal’ as she did not have the order to make the bill. Overall a bit of a joke considering what they are advertising themselves as. A pity for a family lunch out but also for the other customers present at that time who also had many complaints. I always leave a 5-star review as I always have very satisfying service and tasty food. This time I was doubting between a 2 or 3.

My friend and I entered an empty restaurant (we were there around 6:30 pm) and gradually more guests came inside.

Only one waitress was there, and maybe it is okay for the size of the restaurant. But the service was very cold!! Just like the weather outside! You simply don’t feel that you are welcome, although we got the drinks&food we ordered.

The starter was good! A lot of varieties!

The main course!!!! Such a small portion!! Omg really???? Maybe try to use a smaller plate?

The dessert??? Omg the most ugliest ice cream? No presentation?
