We had a great experience here! The coffee was excellent, we tried the americano and iced cappuccino, and both were perfect. The tiramisu and the sandwich with prosciutto were also delicious. The food was so good, we didn’t even manage to take any pictures before it was all gone) The sandwiches were huge and incredibly tasty. We saw them being prepared, and they were packed with fresh ingredients, so much prosciutto and burrata cheese, more than you usually get even on a large pizza! We were with our dog, and the staff kindly gave him some water. The atmosphere is lovely both outside and inside. There’s a beautiful view from the café - even indoors, you can see the building across the street, which is really pretty. Can’t wait...
Read moreWhat a find! As Italians from the Tuscan region would say, "Mi Garba!" ("I like it!") I've been coming for a year and a half, and this place is so CONSISTENTLY GOOD! Their daily fresh focaccia's with incredible flavors, as well as their excellent Italian coffee and desserts (my favorites, include the Cafe crema, Tiramisu and intense chocolate cake) are not to be missed while in Ghent.
Visiting Italians would be proud - it's a lovely place to relax after a long day of sightseeing, and to have super delicious comfort food and wine!

"bella vista terrace" in front of the historical city hall of Gent with awesome homemade Italian food (she bakes her own "Schiacciata" bread 🤤 and it tastes incredibly good) and Italian drinks: very exquisite affordable wines, beers, cold and hot beverages (their coffee is the real deal, their prosecco tastes like love in glass).
