Panos — Restaurant in Ghent

I am addicted to cappuccino and chocolate cookie. I use panos in different locations in Gent, but mostly here. Lately they changed the way how they make cappuccino and now it is not nice. Earlier they used a machine to make the coffee and another special machine to steam the milk. Result was very very good. Now they have an automatic machine that makes everything at once. The result is a lukewarm (English understatement) thing that doesn't warm up your belly if you drink immediately all of it and is definitely cold if you take the time to savour you cookie. I understand that employees save time using this machine, but they should set it up to a much higher temperature. I will move to lange munt (where the cappuccino is perfect) even if it is farther than my needs and try again here maybe once every couples of months until they fix the problem, if they will ever fix it. If not... goodbye...

Fresh sandwich shop near center of Ghent. Both pre-dressed and freshly made sandwiches, paninis available. Decent selection of cakes and pastries available. Courteous staffs. Prices reasonable and rather on the cheaper side. E.g. sandwiches available for about less than 4 Euros. Credit cards accepted. There is a seating area upstairs with street view.
