Pasta La Vista — Restaurant in Ghent

Delivery was slow compared to other businesses in the same area (1h) and the difference between their regular and large size is hard to notice but the reason they are getting this low a review is for completely messing up an order, adding bacon instead of extra cheese to a dish. Since the food was meant for a vegetarian, this meant we needed to find them something else to eat after already waiting an hour. They also gave us the wrong cheese to go with the dish (emmental instead of parmesan) and the bacon covered 4 cheeses tasted pretty bland, save for the bacon part.

It was so striking, we assumed it was the wrong order, but they had the right name and did do the drinks correct.

Cosy little restaurant, with charming staff, it was fully booked at the time of our visit, so check/book before going. We ordered one Bolognese pasta and one Gluten free pasta, the latter was the last portion available. Pretty decent sauce, and quick service. For me the pasta was overcooked, I eat pasta" al dente". It was a cosy place, friendly service, it was yummy and more than enough food for a good price. I was impressed mainly because of the price and the amount of good food. There's also a decent menu. Reservations for multiple people are recommended. I recommend and will be coming back. They also do take away, and you can sit while you wait.
