Looking through the previously posted photos, I feel even more disappointed with dinner. At first, I was excited that it was an intimate, quiet venue with no table accommodating more than 4 people and max capacity around 16-20ppl. Only 1 person checking guests in, getting drinks, serving tables. It was kitschy until you were in for a 3hr night. The carpaccio was nice, but too much olive oil and a random potato crisp garnish. The main (fillet steak?) was lacklustre. We were told all steaks were delivered rare (which we were happy with) but they came out medium and chewy. There was no presentation and the potato croquettes were clearly not made in house and had come from a packet - they were simply tooooo perfect compared to the rest of the plate (see pic for reference). There was no sauce or jus which made the whole dish quite dry. We opted for the cheese instead of dessert at an additional €4 each which came out with 3 triangles of not particularly special cheese and some odd and boring bits of nuts, pastes and some sort of seasoning. Also… I would suggest passing on aperitivo and the mid meal palate cleanser (choose soup over home made spirits) and just jump straight onto a bottle of wine.
The positive! The wine list is great in variety, quality and value.
I sincerely hope it was an off night for the chef and wish you...

Carpaccio was a bit bland, we had a pasta dish and catch of the day. Bit odd because catch of the day had the same sauce and pasta as the separate pasta dish. 140 euros. Food wasn't great but had a good chat with...
