O'Tweat — Restaurant in Jette

Our visit to O'Tweak with a party of four was a mixed experience. While dining, we read through some of the existing Google reviews for O'Tweak, and much of what was mentioned aligned with our experience.

Starting with the positives: the staff was friendly, and the portions were generous. However, there were several areas that could be improved. A number of dishes on the menu were unavailable, which limited our options. Two of our starters arrived only after the main courses were served, and one main dish (Lasagne) was forgotten entirely.

The dining environment also had some challenges. The temperature inside was uncomfortably cold, prompting us to keep our jackets on while waiting for a quite long time and throughout the meal. At one point, smoke from the kitchen became quite noticeable and disruptive.

The restaurant finds itself in the beautiful place du miroir. Being winter we chose to sit inside even if it was a sunny day, and we were rewarded with a beautiful, curated interior. There is a more modern contemporary area at the entrance and a more last century look going deeper in the restaurant. We tried the couscous and the chicken escalope and both were very good and generously portioned. The service took a bit longer than expected but the friendliness of the service and the warm interior design made us feel welcome and relaxed so it wasn't a problem at all. Si je pouvais mettre la note de 0 je le ferai car j’ai commandé un bagel qui avait une forte odeur de périmé et des potatoes cru à l’intérieur. Nous avons demander à la serveuse de faire cuire nos potatoes mais au final elles sont revenues crus !!! Je fais la remarque à la serveuse de la qualité médiocre du plat et elle propose à moi et mon amie de changer le plat gratuitement par un plat de poulet crème champignon. Le deuxième fut également une catastrophe, un poulet pas cuit avec une odeur de PERIMÉ !!! Une sauce crème champignon infame (probablement industrielle…) et des potatoes encore cru… Ce deuxième plat devait ne pas nous être facturé selon la serveuse en guise de compensation mais au final nous avons été facturé au prix fort pour de la nourriture.
