Funky Jungle — Restaurant in Mechelen

We love vegan food.. and always looking for the next vegan place nearby wherever we stay to fill our bellies and support the cause!! Especially when it was the only Vegan place on Google maps in a 20km radius. (Bad Google?)

While the place looks lovely, the service was nice, and the meals were large and looked fabulous they were overpriced and took forever to arrive (I am willing to wait one or two forevers for a good meal), in our opinion we have had better similar meals in other places.

Judging by other reviews and one famous say.. I would reccomend you go try and judge for yourself!! You might like their options more...

My wife and I were looking for some decent food for Lunch today , before the long journey home (we are both Vegans so have been picking and choosing everywhere we go).

We googled and found FUNKY JUNGLE, best search result for Vegan Food.

The food was fantastic, flavourful and so many items on our plates we stopped naming them.

It was award winning food before we ate there and they are maintaining very high standards.

We would recommend this place to anyone/ everyone.

The staff both front of house and in the kitchens all pulling together to make our food memorable.

I visited Mechelen for a three-week work trip. Normally I want to get as much variety as possible, trying lots of different restaurants. Funky Jungle is the only one that I visited repeatedly because the food is so good, fresh, and filling. I just order the special and know that I will get something amazing. Super friendly couple that runs this place. I’m more of a flexitarian, everything here is vegan and delicious. You won’t miss anything! Definitely my top pick of restaurants...
