Graspoort — Restaurant in Mechelen

My girlfriend booked in Graspoort two weeks prior. We arrived there and they told us that they did not had any reservation under our name for 2 people but for 7 people. After some time they had realised that they had done a mistake but they were rude to us like it was our mistake !

The owener was chaotic during dinner service, running around the garden causing stress. People go there to have a relaxing time and not to see someone running around like a headless chicken.

Eventhough the location is nice, the food is average at best. We paid 66.40 euros for two medium Irish steaks which were made well done.

We ate here on a short trip to Mechelen and were delighted by our experience. The food, with strong Japanese influences, was fresh and tasty and made the most of the ingredients’ flavours.
