El Greco — Restaurant in Ostend

Honestly it deserves no stars but since I’m forced to give one to speak about my horrendous experience there… First we chose this restaurant because there was live music, but when we got there the waiter put us outside because we have a dog. So we didn’t even get to enjoy the music. Then the service was catastrophic, the waiter was so nonchalant, and we had to wait 20 min just to even get a menu… And then came the worst part, the food. In total honesty I could’ve done better myself. It was blend, no seasoning, everything tasted so weird, the green beans tasted like makeup🤷‍♀️. And the items on the menu were kind of weird too for a Greek restaurant. The dog ate more than we did and when we said we didn’t like the food, the waiter just didn’t care. No commercial gesture were made. And the bad experience continued until the payement… And it was so freaking expensive for no reason because neither quality, taste or service were acceptable. If I have one thing to say, this is by far the worst Greek restaurant I ever visited, avoid this place...

May, 2021. Terrible service of the delivery and rude attitude of the personal. They were 1 hour late with the delivery and justified themselves with the fact it was Saturday. If it's Saturday, don't promise to deliver it at the agreed time then and warn the people about the fact they will have to wait, as it's not the first Saturday that you work. The staff told me "don't order next time if you don't like to wait". No apologies, she just stopped the conversation. The delivery woman was rude too and said she can't fly. We made reservation on saturday night with my husband and my daughter. They putted us in very small table between 2 walls and not posibble to move lucky me I have small and not fat 🫣🫣🫣🫣, if I want going to the toilet I have to move chair from my daughter OMG. First they came with appetizer menu scrimp croquettes but the scrimp croquettes still frozen inside of course we give back to the lady who werk there even they didn’t say sorry. The second time we order main course for 2 persons is chef’s plate and the meats very dry and hard also not tastefull. We don’t understand why many people come there.Not worthy with price !!! Never come...
