G. Burger — Restaurant in Saint-Gilles - Sint-Gillis

Great place with great food. Small hole-in-the-wall vibe, the entire operation is run by 1 guy, Muat. Muat is very friendly and a great cook, I would love to talk to him more but he had to go make the burgers. Operating hours are correct but vary around open and close because it’s all run by Muat, alone.

Veggie option for burgers is a high quality meat substitute that we thought was real meat at first and the meat is halal. The burgers were so big we couldn’t finish and got boxes for takeaway.

Burgers come with fries but sauce for the fries is 1 € and drinks are 2 €, most burgers are around 13-14 € so bill for 3 people was 48 €. Not too sure how comparable that is to Brussels prices, but I’m a Canadian from Vancouver and G Burger’s prices after exchange are around the same as Vancouver, but G Burger’s quality was...

One-man endeavour. Prices on the menu are incorrect. Surprise extra costs when receiving the bill: extra for the sauce, extra for the drink. The menu didn't match.

The food itself was mediocre, perhaps 3/5. Presentation could be improved upon. The cutting board upon which the food is served is too small. Frozen curly fries, not self-made.

G burger has an issue with delivering; as it is one person both receiving and cooking in the kitchen, waiting times drastically increase when online orders and physical ones coincide.

Not to bash the place too much, but it wasn't anything remarkable. The wrong prices "oops" made it a negative, and even overpriced experience for the quality. Paid 17.5€ for a burger and a drink.

THIS PLACE HIT THE SPOT!!! My husband and I came here on our last night in Brussels. It was close to our hotel and we're so glad we went - to support this small business, instead of eating in the hotel.

The patty size was more than decent sized (not a small smash burger), the fries and dip were delicious and the tenders were also amazing (juicy and tender) and was garnished with pomegranates!!! Which really added to the flavour.

The proportions were great, my husband is a very tall and large guy and he left feeling satiated and that doesn't happen often haha.

The owner was so kind ... he even had us sample the soda we were looking to order, just to make sure we liked it, before ordering two.

If we're ever in Brussels again, we will...
