Waw ,I could not believe that Nobody told me about this place earlier!
You can see it is a realy old building. It's beautifuly renovated into a real treat for the eye from the inside!
The cocktails are good, the appetisers and plates as well.
Not too much choose regarding the meals (which I think is a good thing).
Possible to do a kind of beer tasting which can be interesting for tourists.
The only downside where:
-The Belgian (French) fries... That is a real bummer as most of the meals are typical Belgian meals. But the potato croquettes where really good.
-And the waiting. The restaurant was not full and we had to wait some time to have someone coming at the table (especially when we wanted to pay).

Family house from the beginning of the 20th century- lovingly restored and an amazing walk into the past as you are guided to 1910 train seats in the booths. Importantly though maitre’d brilliant knowledgable friendly and atune to service, waiters superb. Great tributes to everything Belgium on the wine list which is rare and super impressive and they don’t let the shop down. Food - great carpaccio and croquettes starters. Salmon veg burger, meat balls and the steaks all great and then my usual Carbonnade one of the nicest I have tasted. Read moreA beautiful maison du maître opened partly as a bistro serving Belgian cuisine. Welcoming and polite service. Nice cocktails served with eco-friendly straws. I had the american but was not particularly swept away. It lacked the very basics (like onion) and it was served with a small portion of good fries. On table a good variety of Brussels Ketjep sauces. Though the bistro’s setting is not extremely cozy and the train carriage compartment sort of wooden seats not exactly comfortable, I may return for a drink.
