I recently dined at Rangla Punjab in Brussels, and it was a truly delightful experience. Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant offers an authentic taste of Indian cuisine that is both flavorful and satisfying. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance. The decor captures the vibrant essence of Punjab, with colorful accents and traditional artwork that create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was enjoyable. The menu at Rangla Punjab is extensive, featuring a wide variety of dishes that cater to different tastes and preferences. I had the pleasure of trying several items, and each one was a testament to the rich culinary heritage of India. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, with the perfect blend of spices that made every bite a delight. The starters were a great beginning to the meal. The samosas were crispy and filled with a savory mixture of potatoes and peas, while the paneer tikka was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. The accompanying chutneys added a burst of flavor that complemented the dishes wonderfully. For the main course, I opted for a classic butter chicken and a serving of dal makhani. The butter chicken was creamy and rich, with tender pieces of chicken cooked in a luscious tomato-based sauce. The dal makhani was equally impressive, with its hearty and comforting flavors. Paired with freshly baked naan and fragrant basmati rice, these dishes made for a satisfying and delicious meal. The dessert menu also did not disappoint. I tried the gulab jamun, which were soft and soaked in a sweet syrup, providing a perfect ending to the meal. What stood out the most at Rangla Punjab was the authenticity of the food. It was clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft, using traditional recipes and high-quality ingredients to create dishes that truly represent Indian cuisine.Overall, my visit to Rangla Punjab was an exceptional dining experience. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in Brussels. I highly recommend Rangla Punjab and will definitely be returning to explore more of their...

Rangla Punjab's food is like "sarson da saag te makki di roti" (mustard greens with cornbread) - a classic Punjabi combination that leaves you craving for more. Each bite was a burst of flavors, like "makhan laga ke khao" (eating with butter) - indulgent and satisfying.
The attention to detail and quality of ingredients at Rangla Punjab are top-notch. The spices used in their dishes are "teekhe te meethhe" (spicy and sweet), perfectly balanced to transport you to the streets of India.
Though the portions may not be "khandan wala" (fit for a large family), they are just right to relish every delectable morsel. The chefs at Rangla Punjab "hath da kaam" (work wonders) with their culinary skills, creating a memorable dining experience even via Deliveroo 😁
For an authentic taste of India in Brussels, Rangla Punjab is "pind diyan gallan" (the talk of the town). Their mouth-watering flavors will make you say "waah ji waah" (wow, oh wow) with every bite. Don't miss out on this "dil khush kar dene wala" (heartwarming) culinary journey!
I’m definitely going dine...
Read moreGot take out from Rangla Punjab, I ordered a Butter Chicken and a Tikka Masala. For some background, I love Indian food, and end up ordering Indian food wherever I travel. For the ‘fake’ western Indian food like the dishes I ordered, this comes off a bit on the heavier side, whether more butter/cream was used, the food sorta sat in my stomach.
With that being said, the flavor was good, and appreciated the difference between ‘Indian’ spicy and ‘European’ spicy. I had an Indian spicy Butter Chicken and it was a good heat level. I also had a Mango Lassi which was good and the flavor was exactly what I expected.
One final note that knocked this from a 4 to 3 stars, we did find a piece of hair in the Tikka Masala we ordered. Stuff happens, so looking at the reviews, this seems to be a one off incident. As others mentioned, it can be a bit expensive. 3 out of 5 stars for me, I wouldn’t mind coming back, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to Saint-Josse...
