Very pleased with this hidden gem of a place - and when I say hidden, I mean it literally. Tourists like myself would be puzzled by the awning with the restaurant name but see the storefront of a clothing and housewares store through the windows. This place is an all-in-one shop that, in addition to the above-mentioned, includes a deli counter and small grocery...PLUS a restaurant, which is located at the back. You will have to walk through the store to get to the dining area. Consider dining on the patio and gazing out at the garden in the back.

It was relatively quiet when we arrived but service was quick and friendly. The menu has many unique dishes but my brother and I both opted for pasta. We could hear the happy chef in the kitchen singing while preparing our meals. Both dishes were very tasty; so much so that we opted to return the next night and sample more of the menu. If you want to have a nice delicious meal and you have no problem with bad customer service, then this is your place. We went with my husband and daughter for a lunch, we ordered one business lunch and a plate with spaghetti and shrimps. We were waiting and waiting, imagine one of the waiters asked us if we want coffee, as he thought we had finished eating! We asked what happened and our meal is not ready yet after 45 minutes, to get the answer from the chief waiter that nothing is wrong, and that we ordered 10 minutes ago! To mention here, that customers that arrived later were already eating their meal! It was really frustrating that he did not admit that a mistake was made. After almost one hour wait our plates arrived. Yes the food is delicious! At the end, the chef came and apologised saying that our order has been put aside by accident, which I find honest. Extremely disappointing experience due to the owner’s behavior.

We came as a group of six people, 4 kids. Despite spending a reasonable amount and behaving respectfully, the owner made us feel extremely unwelcome.

She complained about the number of children at the table and insinuated that we hadn’t consumed enough to justify occupying it — even though the table was clearly available and not reserved when we arrived. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and entirely inappropriate for someone running a hospitality business.

The staff themselves were polite, but the owner’s treatment of customers is unacceptable and ruined the entire experience. I cannot recommend this place to families or anyone expecting...
