Very Sadly this will be our last Visit here whilst I can’t fault the Food The service was Shocking having booked a table where our Daughter was out of the way in her wheelchair which is where we Always sit as it’s the best place for our daughters chair the lady matriarch wanted us moved and she made such a fuss About it and caused such a scene in front of the other Diners that I nearly walked out there and then… We had booked the table The night before with the owner! After creating a scene we were then told they had a booking for 7 so we had to move but we were put in the opposite corner I’m guessing so as the wheelchair was hidden …. as they then proceeded to sit another couple there all very Odd Behaviour…. the rest of the Staff Anew team (Not surprising if she treats her Staff the way she treats her Customers )seemed Subdued on this Occasion and not the happy friendly Staff we’d Encountered on previous visits We visit every two months and have done for the last 5+ years On this Occasion we’d planned to have a 3 course meal and a few drinks but After the scene created my husband just had a Flemish stew I had Bolognese and headed to the ice cream parlour so much friendlier … So in monetary value they lost out and where we usually bring our friends every two months I’m sure not keeping your customers happy will mean they go Elsewhere As we will and we will Also Avoid the other restaurant/Tea Room ...

Our waitress was a star, an able linguist, funny, polite beyond requirement and she made our night.
The food was well prepared and served quickly. I had the Flemish Stew and it was amazing. Some had the pork cheeks and were as equally happy as I.
I thoroughly enjoyed the and I recommend this restaurant without any hesitation.
