Yathida Noodle House — Restaurant in Ypres

I came here on Sunday evening with a good buddy. We had some Thai food and enjoyed it. Staff lovely. But there was something disconcerting. There was a lone chap (a patron) sitting on a table near to us. He heartily ate his food and kept trying to make conversation with us. We politely smiled and ignored him. Hadn’t picked up the ques. Then what appeared to be the owners’ family came in with children. The parents ignored the chap, but he tried to fraternise with the kids. To the extent of them sitting in his lap. He then went to pay at the counter and lingered around for a very long time. Staff ignoring him. He probably spent 30 mins there knocking around after he ate. It all felt just a bit weird for my liking. Was evidently known by the owners, but should have been told to...

We ate here with my family, 2 daughters and wife. We booked earlier in day. The food was excellent. Genuinely delicious with large portions and very fresh ingredients. We have recently visited Thailand and regularly eat at Thai restaurants back home in the UK and this was one of the best Thai meals I have had. 等待時間非常長，我是在晚餐時間第一位進店點餐的顧客，點了店裡歸類在「wok 快炒」項目的 Pad Tahi 也是等了40-50分鐘。

Pad Thai 不是使用河粉而是烏龍麵，送上來直接大問號，更扯的是裡面還有一大片塑膠？！

和服務人員反應後我說我不介意這件事發生，我還是會吃，主因是我沒有時間再等你送新的一盤來，可是服務生連一句道歉都沒有

最後我沒吃完想打包，要了打包盒到結帳的時候才知道打包盒是要在另外付費的，在我要打包盒的時候服務人員也沒有跟我說

更可惡的是我有點手工春捲，實際收費的價格也和菜單上不一樣

總共我多付了1.5歐，就真的是小錢，但那個態度很不對，我不是很懂這間店怎麼做到這麼高評價的，但是我是不會再來了

First of all, the waiting time is way too long, I was the first customer during the dinner hours, my main was only served 40-50 minutes after order.

I ordered Pad Thai, interestingly it’s not pad Thai at all but udon, and there was a really big piece of plastic in it.

Then I told the waitress I don’t mind it, but I just want to let you know this happened, and she didn’t even apologize to me for the incident…

After that I asked for a take out box cause I didn’t finish my food, but I only found out I have to pay for the take out box after I paid and got the receipt.

It was at the same time I found out the appetizer was charged more than listed on the menu as well, in total I paid 1.5 euros more than I should, it’s tiny bit of money but it just feel like being tripped.

Anyway, I don’t understand how a restaurant can have 4.6 stars with the services like this, I don’t think I’ll ever...
