Tropicolada — Restaurant in Belize City

If you want good, authentic local food in a clean place with air conditioning and free wi-fi, this place is for you! The stew chicken and beans&rice were very good, as was the watermelon juice (refreshing!). But beware the small cup of what looks like slaw, it is a garnish made of the hottest peppers I have ever tasted! The waitstaff was very nice and the price was not bad. WATCH OUT! Prices on the menu are in American Dollars! We didn't came from a cruiseschip. We are backpackers, the place didn't look fancy so we asumed that being in Belize, prices would be in Belizian dollars. Not! They had two different menu's, on the one they showed us opened, it says in a smal font on the outside that prices are in American dollars.
