My fiancĂ© said “Best meal since we’ve arrived. Put that in your review.”

I really appreciate when a restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan options.

My fiancé and I were looking for a restaurant vegetarian and vegan friendly for me and this place did not disappoint!

I ordered veggie curry medium spicy and fiancé ordered fish curry medium spicy. Both agreed the seasoning and heat level were perfect. Very tasty. Beautifully presented.

I ordered watermelon juice and fiancĂ© ordered pineapple watermelon juice. It was so refreshing. Eating hot food on a hot day doesn’t always sound tempting but it was so very worth it. Vegetables were cooked perfectly. Not too mushy or hard.

Sadly the restaurant is small. If the building was larger they would be more packed.

Only recommendations are around inside temperature and posted hours of operation.

It’s very warm inside and did not notice a cross breeze. There are ceiling fans or at least one but eating hot food in a hot space is not ideal. Thankfully there were only two of us so we could sit outside with a nice breeze. Recommend considering some sort of roof ventilation or cross breeze ideas. Besides the temp, the restaurant is adorable with a peaceful and elegant ambiance. Staff were lovely. Food cam out quickly.

The restaurant closes at 8pm but they started turning people away at 7:19pm. This can be disappointing to walk all the way there seeing they are open until 8pm and being turned away. Most places take orders until closing time. One group turned away was large. It’s a shame to see the business lose that money but that group would not have fit inside; tables full. The other couple that arrived likely could have eaten quickly if given the option. Only things I noticed slightly negative.

Would return for the same curry dishes again....

We had a lovely dinner at Caroline’s after a few attempts to go eat there (didn’t see it was closed for a few hours mid afternoon and once was randomly closed). We visited in mid February 2022. But the menu was typical Caribbean fare and the flavors were unbelievable. Probably the best meal we had in our two weeks in Belize. Unfortunately (as in basically all of Belize) we had a hard time with our 3 and 5 year old boys to find a “kid friendly meal” - they ended up sharing the chicken and ate some of it. But either than that we had a great experience! And a special shout out to Lumani who was the sweetest server we had on our whole trip. Just genuine and kind and we had great chats about our dogs :) we’d highly recommend eating here on...

Happened upon this wonderful little restaurant as we left the Covid testing place. Super clean, friendly staff, enjoyable atmosphere, and fantastic food. Prices are very reasonable as well. I had the grilled fish, beans & rice, and grilled plantain. Tasty and grilled to perfection. The wife had the veggie quesadilla and thought it was one of the best she’s ever had. Our friends had the shrimp quesadilla and the grilled boneless chicken breast. Both throughly enjoyed their meals as well. It was a bit of a walk from our hotel to this place but we all agreed we would eat here again. It’s our last day here so a visit back to Caroline’s will have to wait until our next trip back...
