Possibly the cheapest eatery in ambergris caye, where you can snack with the locals, but just remember you get what you pay for more often than not. It seems to be a family ran business, and Ive seen others rave about the food, but I didnt have much to rave about. Maybe it was because I went in the evening and not mid day. Either way..i got what I paid for...
The location is a little less shiny, a bit less touristy, and a bit more san pedro than most tourist are probably comfortable with. It is tucked away down a road which is fairly easy to find by go cart. It isnt well lit and if you head down the path late evening, you'll find the scenery will leave u feeling a bit unsafe.
The food is cheap. It isnt stunning or amazing...but it is ok. It isnt going to be memorable, and you wont go there twice in one trip I promise. You can grab several tacos, empanadas, burritos, and drinks...

If you're not a pushy person, maybe keep driving by during one of their open slots (as they close midday), & only pop in if it happens to be empty. Of positive note- they had a good selection of juices. Earlier the better on these as they get watered down as the ice melts. Sour...
Read moreAMAZING! Wanted to try something small and local and more friendly to the wallet than most of the restaurants around. Heard good things and upon getting there everything on the menu looked so good. I couldn’t decide so tried a little of everything. Two tacos, two salbutes, two fry jacks, a burrito, two garanchas, and two empanadas! Fry jacks and salbutes were the winners but everything was so good. The picture I took was before everything had arrived, two more plates came after that. Added a Coke and bottle water and everything came to $12 USD! About what I have paid for a single alcoholic drink at most restaurants. Please give them a try, you will not be disappointed, everything...
