Possibly the cheapest eatery in ambergris caye, where you can snack with the locals, but just remember you get what you pay for more often than not. It seems to be a family ran business, and Ive seen others rave about the food, but I didnt have much to rave about. Maybe it was because I went in the evening and not mid day. Either way..i got what I paid for...

The location is a little less shiny, a bit less touristy, and a bit more san pedro than most tourist are probably comfortable with. It is tucked away down a road which is fairly easy to find by go cart. It isnt well lit and if you head down the path late evening, you'll find the scenery will leave u feeling a bit unsafe.

The food is cheap. It isnt stunning or amazing...but it is ok. It isnt going to be memorable, and you wont go there twice in one trip I promise. You can grab several tacos, empanadas, burritos, and drinks...

Chaos. No system or signs about where to order or pay, & the menus are hidden until you're right at the window. This might be considered part of the local charm, except it gets mighty annoying when sit-down orders are continuously trumped by take-outs... regardless of the quantity ordered to go. Do Not order anything besides one of the 3 cookie-cutter tacos unless you've brought a book to read- as for examples 2 burritos, were only made by the disgruntled grill staff after numerous requests by one of the managers. If you're not a pushy person, maybe keep driving by during one of their open slots (as they close midday), & only pop in if it happens to be empty. Of positive note- they had a good selection of juices. Earlier the better on these as they get watered down as the ice melts. Sour...

AMAZING! Wanted to try something small and local and more friendly to the wallet than most of the restaurants around. Heard good things and upon getting there everything on the menu looked so good. I couldn’t decide so tried a little of everything. Two tacos, two salbutes, two fry jacks, a burrito, two garanchas, and two empanadas! Fry jacks and salbutes were the winners but everything was so good. The picture I took was before everything had arrived, two more plates came after that. Added a Coke and bottle water and everything came to $12 USD! About what I have paid for a single alcoholic drink at most restaurants. Please give them a try, you will not be disappointed, everything...

The place was just opening for a Monday dinner business when we arrived at 5:30pm. Make sure you are looking at the correct menu for morning vs evening as prices and offerings are different. We ordered one of each of a burrito, salbute, empanada, tostada, and taco with different fillings. The order was made to order - from dough to the fryer/hot plate, so it took about 15mins for the order to be done. Our favourite to least: chicken burrito, fish salbute, beef empanada, chicken tostada, and fish taco. Overall: we were really full and it costed us BZ 13 altogether. It was delicious and we don't mind coming back again.

This place is an oasis amid the sea of overpriced tourist meh. They are open for breakfast and then close until dinner. When you arrive grab a menu off the counter and once you've figure out what you want step up on the platform and order. They will call out each dish when it's ready and then you pay at the end. They also can do to go orders. Once you get your food it's as if the garden of Eden has opened it bounty unto you. Don't forget to try the frescas.
