ETA Burgers — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

Came to Bosnia for a few days with my family and stumbled across this gorgeous cafe near our Airbnb (Radićeva apartment). The first evening, I went there for a cup of tea but they ran out of takeaway cups so the staff member kindly went next door to get me one instead of turning me away. Very thoughtful! The next evening, we went back for some desserts and honestly the crepes just blew us away. They were phenomenal! The quality was out of this world and the crepes just melted in my mouth. I ordered the Dubai chocolate crepe and they actually put the kadayfi filling inside the crepe - the crunch was perfect! All the crepes came with a filling too and not just a topping, unlike the usual dessert spots in London. We weren’t expecting the desserts to be this good but we were pleasantly surprised. They took their time to make it but it was worth the wait! Whether you’re locals or tourists, please support this wonderful small business owned by two lovely brothers who are doing a great job! Very possibly the best burger I have ever had. Classic burger. Further the French Fries are a delight. Their shape is unique, actually brilliant. As a hobbyist cook, who has cooked professionally in a previous life, I must say that I am impressed. I would go out of my way for this place. Not enough stars.

I suspect the fries are shaped, soaked in cold water, blanched quickly, bowl of ice, towel dried, baked then fried. The texture is like the quality of fried potatos you get in highly rated Michelin star. Really good. I am probably overstaying, but my cook brain is going wild at the texture. Love them. Every time I go to Bosnia, it is a must to at least visit ETA Burgers once during my stay. The sauces are really good especially the sweet chilli one and dont get me started on the burgers. Fresh, tasty and a cool and friendly owner. What can a burger enthusiast wish for more?

Next time I will have to check out the pancakes because it would be a shame to not check them out based of how they look in the menu🥞.

Also the whole store is halal ✅️, no alcoholic drinks just refreshing soda and freshly squeezed juice, as it should be 🥤.
