Konoba Luka Sarajevo — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

Ate lunch here with 4 adults and 1 kid since my cousins that lives in Sarajevo mentioned it to be a good restaurant, especially for fish etc. It is a bit pricier than most restaurants that you will find around Sarajevo.

The best part was the food. Everything we ate (two kinds of soups, octopus salad, octopus and mussels) tasted nicely and were cooked properly. The mussels were very small so I would order at least 500g. The broth was OK. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and finished their plates. Portion sizes are quite good. The tables are quite small so it was a constant struggle to fit everything that was ordered on it.

We sat outdoors under their marquise. It was a hot day so it got quite stuffy under there, but the general atmosphere was nice.

The service was OK. Like many places in Bosnia they will do what you ask of them but never with a smile or a personal touch nor going the extra mile. As a Bosnian living abroad visiting often I have come to accept this, but at a place like this that strives to be a bit better, bolder and also; more expensive - I expected more from the waiting staff. All guests got the same cordial but cool treatment.

I would definitely try it for the food, but to be a 5 star restaurant with a total tab of almost 300KM you need to execute with the service and they do indeed have some way to go...

5 stars a perfect visit...

So where to even start. This is truly a culinary delight. A fiest of multi seafood flavors combined in a romantic setting of true Balkan Architecture.

The service was outstanding even though the restaurant was completely full inside and outside. All I can say is wow to their Team - and especailly thank you to our head waitor Rasim for outstanding was our entire evening thank you for making it perfect. Also the Wine selection perfect and the prices were also of awesome value.

So you will love every part of your experiance, dont miss this place if you love the freshest seafood like we do. They have such a high volume of fresh seafood delivered right from the Med, everyday all week long every morning. You will surely love this one check the photos it tells it all. Enjoy...

P.s the beautiful display of flowers outside around your garden terrace was so inviting and romantic and all the wonderful purfume of flowers was simply perfect for all to enjoy...
