Stayed here for three nights in August 2023 while visiting Sarajevo and thought it was excellent.||The hotel is right in the centre of town, near any number of restaurants and cafes, plus being on the top floors of the building has incredible views from the rooms (including bathrooms which is quite unique).||The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, including the bed which led to excellent sleep.||It's also moments walk away from some of the main sights in Sarajevo.||The staff really friendly, especially Ane who was super helpful and great to chat to about travel and Bosnia in general.||When I arrived at the building, I wasn't sure how to get to the actual reception/hotel because it's only the upper floors, and couldn't see a sign, but just take the lift to the top floor and you come out at reception.||The cafe in the hotel seems the place to be for young Sarajevo residents and plays loud music until 23:00 on the dot, which can heard in your room above.||Those two minor points aside, I loved my stay here, was quite sad to leave and look forward to hopefully staying again,...
Read moreWhat a disappointment this place turned out to be. First of all I didn’t get the room I paid for as apperently previous guest got very sick and had to stay longer. I ended up in a cheaper room, and they didn’t even think to mention a compensation. The room I stayed in was ok, nice view, BUT…. Internet was non existant. Tv channels were so burry that were unwatchable. For such expensive place one would hope to have soap or shampoo in the bathroom, but no! Towels were so old and ripped - they were falling apart. French windows, from the ceiling to the floor, didn’t have any fence or rail, so one could just plunge 12 stories down if not carefull. There were blood stains on the sheet, and many spiders and spider webs around. Bathroom walls were filthy with grease!!||I was really looking forward to stay here, but it turned out to be an utter fail. ||Best thing here was the view and...
Read moreThe entrance to the hotel at street level looks rather grim, but don't be put off! Once you take the lift up to floor 9 (no other options), the hotel floors themselves are modern and welcoming. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful, and happy to give tips on where to explore. ||The location is great, right on the edge of the old town in the city centre. The views from the rooms and the cafe are excellent and you can see the whole of Sarajevo. ||Room was clean and bright, and the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, which was lovely. It was surprisingly noisy at night given how high above street level it is, but that didn't bother us too much. ||Parking is available at the City Park a few minutes walk from the hotel - there is an agreed rate for 24 hours with the hotel, but make sure you get a receipt from the station, as they were a bit difficult with the paperwork...
