Tourists stay away! Yet another place where they suddenly act like they don't understand anything once a tourist comes in. I wonder if it is because they are xenophobic or because they don't like gays at this store. I pointed at the ice cream cone I wanted, said 1 botar. And she starts pointing at the cups saying 3 flavors? I kept pointing at the ice cream cone, 1 flavor, held up 1 finger ☝🏼. She asked a colleague to translate, and I said, in English, 1 flavor, and her colleague translated to Portuguese "1 botar". But she kept asking "3 flavors?", and I and her own colleague kept telling her "ONE FLAVOR", her colleague looked like she was about to give up also. In the end I just left and took my R$27 to another Bacio di Latte in Leblon where I got the ice cream I wanted the first time I asked...

We’ve been loyal customers of Bacio di Latte for the past two years, and it has always been our favorite spot for ice cream. The staff has consistently been attentive, friendly, and welcoming — a big part of why we kept coming back.

Unfortunately, our experience today was quite disappointing. We were met with a new manager, Vitoria, whose attitude was unfriendly and dismissive. She was inflexible with even the most standard order adjustments, which felt out of line with the level of service we’ve come to expect here.

It’s disheartening to see such a stark change in the atmosphere due to poor management. We hope this isn’t a sign of a bigger shift in the customer service standards we've always...

My questions were answered, I was offered more than enough samples (3) and used 2 of them. Then gelato is creamy and not too sweet. I will be coming back for more and it is a promise.
