Great variety at very good prices. Can HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Buffet priced by weight at R$12.90 per 100g. Buffet sushi and sashimi is charged at a different price at R$13.90 per 100g. Desserts is R$12.90 per 100g. They didn't mention this to me when I entered and I didn't see it mentioned anywhere on their menu board at the entrance either. I only realised when the lady charged my plate at a different price without telling me.
You can either pay the above by weight or R$129.90 for all you can eat. So if you can eat more than 1kg of food then this would be a good deal. I ate 1.5 plates of mains and salad, 1 small dessert and 1 glass of red wine, and this came to about R$124.
The fillet mignon at the meat offering was great, very tender!! It is first grilled to medium rare and left on a tray for you to select. Then the chef offers to heat it up for you on the hot plate. The younger chef helped heat it up while the older chef cooked it well done so let them know if you like to keep it rare/medium rare. There are also other meats on the rotisserie behind the chefs but I didn't know portugese to ask for it but saw other people ask for it.
There is also a great range of salads (but obviously not great value for money but you need some fibre!), SUSHI, SASHIMI, pasta and desserts. They don't cut up the sashimi readily laid out so you need to ask the chef to cut up the large chunks of salmon/tuna/some kind of white fish in their glass fridge case and they will happily do it for you. Soya sauce is free, you can pick this up where you pick up the plates, there are sauce plates for you too. I didn't know this and took some heavier sweet soya sauce from the Japanese section which I paid the weight for.
For desserts, they have a microwave available for you to heat up your cakes and puddings. Very thoughtful.
Staff are nice and very efficient to clean your table. Clean and tidy...
Read moreJust round the corner from our hotel (Windsor Palace) so convenient. I asked an English-speaking member of staff to explain how it worked and we dived in! We were given a slip at the door which is kept with you . Take a plate and fill it with whatever you fancy from the, frankly, enormous range of salads and seafood. Even sushi. There is a grill where meats are also available but we took ready-prepared chicken and beef with salads. Take the plate to the weighing machine and a ticket is produced ans tuck onto your slip. Find a table (very quiet at 7pm) and a waiter will come for drinks orders which is also marked on your slip. Go back for a clran plate and top-ups or puddings. At the end take your slip to the door and pay! Very easy,...
Read moreIt was our last day in Brazil, and our last day of our epic Tour of Latin America. It was also my daughter's 14th birthday today and she wanted to celebrate dinner at a traditional Brazilian BBQ buffet. It was a little harder to decide which one to go to based on reviews and prices, however after much time, I decided to go with Siqueira Grill. When we arrived, we had to decide either weigh-and-pay for each plate, or the all-you-can-eat buffet. We all decided to do the buffet, but drinks were separate. Most of the others also charged extra for the dessert bar, but this was included. I'm glad we did because it was close by, the price was fair (about $23 per person) and the food was...
