A great Italian restaurant at Copacabana! Everything we ordered was very delicious: the bread with parmigiano as a starter was very interesting and soft; the tagliatelle with pesto and burrata were creamy and rich in flavour, especially with the crunchy walnuts on top! The different margherita (I forgot the name on the menu) was so incredibly well done; I loved the softness of the dough, the crunchiness of the crust and the simple mozzarella, pesto and tomato sauce on top. We had to give the tiramisu a try, which was alright. The (red) wine was also okay, though it could be better. What I really like in this menu, is that not only is there a great variety of dishes, but also quite different; there are some ingredient combinations that don’t really seem to go together, but believe me, the chefs know what they are doing;) Moreover, the atmosphere is calm and cozy, perfect for lunch or dinner (especially in a great location like this Copacabana). Thank you for your...

ENGLISH: Expensive place, with bad food, small portions and the worst service in Copacabana. I went once to dinner with my wife. The food was too salty and the waiter was rude. I was surprised, therefore, when my wife decided to give the restaurant a second chance and booked it for Valentine's Day. She made the reservation a week in advance. We arrived 5 minutes before the time, but the restaurant was full. We called the manager and he told us he didn't want to hold our reservation. "People are arriving and we gave your table to them," he told me. I replied that this was disrespectful, that we had planned to go out to dinner, that my wife had bought a dress and that at the time of the Valentine's Day dinner we would have no other option. He said he would fix it, but left us standing on the sidewalk while he waited tables. I felt sorry for my wife. She wanted a special night, but she was sad and it wasn't her fault. Finally I told the manager that I would report the establishment's lack of respect on the Internet. This kind of thing happens because people keep quiet and accept to be disrespected. This would never happen in a serious restaurant. This is not a good restaurant. There are better places with decent food and reasonable prices where people are treated with respect...
Read moreGood pizza (especially if you tell them to cook it well done). Flavorful sauce and fresh ingredients. The right mix of sauce, mozzarella, and basil on the Margarita pizza (and I added onions and green peppers - again just the right amount of each on the pizza).
I've found at most Brazilian pizza places the bottom crust is barely cooked and often soggy. Asking for the pizza well done usually solves that. It did here: crust was baked perfectly.
The Chocolate Mousse Tarte was passable. Basically a thin, slightly gooey brownie with ice cream.
Good service! Seating indoors, on a near patio, or under a permanent tent on the walk.
This place is on Copacabana, so it is comparatively pricy. But...
